Then He said to them,“ Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old.”

曰、故凡士子為天國之徒者、如家主由其庫中出新舊之物焉、○

耶穌曰、是以凡經士、為天國而學道者、如一家主、由其庫中出新舊之物、○

耶穌曰：『是故士子而熟諳天國之理者、譬諸一家之主、庫中取物、新舊兼備。』

He said to them,“ Therefore every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.”

He said to them,“ Every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house. He brings new treasures out of his storeroom as well as old ones.”

And he said to them,“ Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a master of a house, who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.”

Then he added,“ Every teacher of religious law who becomes a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a homeowner who brings from his storeroom new gems of truth as well as old.”

“ Therefore,” he said to them,“ every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom treasures new and old.”

And Jesus said to them,“ Therefore every scribe who has become a disciple of the kingdom of heaven is like a head of a household, who brings out of his treasure new things and old.”

And he said unto them, Therefore every scribe who hath been made a disciple to the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a householder, who bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

“ Therefore,” He said to them,“ every student of Scripture instructed in the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who brings out of his storeroom what is new and what is old.”

Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe[ which is] instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man[ that is] an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure[ things] new and old.

Then he said to them,“ Therefore every expert in the law who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his treasure what is new and old.”

He said to them,“ Therefore every scribe who has been made a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who is a householder, who brings out of his treasure new and old things.”

The lips of the wise disperse knowledge, But the heart of the fool does not do so.

Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning.Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city,

but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.

And we have such trust through Christ toward God.Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict.

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.

He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he.The wise in heart will be called prudent, And sweetness of the lips increases learning.Understanding is a wellspring of life to him who has it. But the correction of fools is folly.The heart of the wise teaches his mouth, And adds learning to his lips.Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.

Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded,in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility,

The words of a man’s mouth are deep waters; The wellspring of wisdom is a flowing brook.

The mandrakes give off a fragrance, And at our gates are pleasant fruits, All manner, new and old, Which I have laid up for you, my beloved.

To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise, And apply your heart to my knowledge;For it is a pleasant thing if you keep them within you; Let them all be fixed upon your lips,

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.

For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the Lord, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel.

as you also learned from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf,

And moreover, because the Preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yes, he pondered and sought out and set in order many proverbs.The Preacher sought to find acceptable words; and what was written was upright— words of truth.The words of the wise are like goads, and the words of scholars are like well-driven nails, given by one Shepherd.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

this Ezra came up from Babylon; and he was a skilled scribe in the Law of Moses, which the Lord God of Israel had given. The king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the Lord his God upon him.

Therefore the wisdom of God also said,‘ I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they will kill and persecute,’

For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake.For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.

The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; The heart of the wicked is worth little.The lips of the righteous feed many, But fools die for lack of wisdom.

by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ),

And I, even I, Artaxerxes the king, issue a decree to all the treasurers who are in the region beyond the River, that whatever Ezra the priest, the scribe of the Law of the God of heaven, may require of you, let it be done diligently,

not a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil.

as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
