Then Jesus sent the multitudes away, and went into the house. His disciples came to him, saying,“ Explain to us the parable of the darnel weeds of the field.”

Those who had eaten were about four thousand. Then he sent them away.

On that day Jesus went out of the house, and sat by the seaside.

Immediately he made his disciples get into the boat, and to go ahead to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he himself sent the multitude away.

Peter answered him,“ Explain the parable to us.”So Jesus said,“ Do you also still not understand?

Some of his disciples therefore said to one another,“ What is this that he says to us,‘ A little while, and you won’t see me, and again a little while, and you will see me;’ and,‘ Because I go to the Father’?”They said therefore,“ What is this that he says,‘ A little while’? We don’t know what he is saying.”Therefore Jesus perceived that they wanted to ask him, and he said to them,“ Do you inquire among yourselves concerning this, that I said,‘ A little while, and you won’t see me, and again a little while, and you will see me?’Most certainly I tell you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.

He answered them,“ To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them.

When he had come into the house, the blind men came to him. Jesus said to them,“ Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They told him,“ Yes, Lord.”

When he had entered into a house away from the multitude, his disciples asked him about the parable.

Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat, and to go ahead of him to the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.

Then he sent away the multitudes, got into the boat, and came into the borders of Magdala.

Without a parable he didn’t speak to them; but privately to his own disciples he explained everything.
