And immediately Jesus had His disciples get into the boat and go ahead of Him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while He Himself* dismissed the crowd.

Peter said to Him,“ Explain the parable to us.”Jesus said,“ Are you also still lacking in understanding?

So some of His disciples said to one another,“ What is this that He is telling us,‘ A little while, and you are not going to see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me’; and,‘ because I am going to the Father’?”So they were saying,“ What is this that He says,‘ A little while’? We do not know what He is talking about.”Jesus knew that they wanted to question Him, and He said to them,“ Are you deliberating together about this, that I said,‘ A little while, and you are not going to see Me, and again a little while, and you will see Me’?Truly, truly I say to you that you will weep and mourn, but the world will rejoice; you will grieve, but your grief will be turned into joy!

And Jesus answered them,“ To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted.

And after He entered the house, the men who were blind came up to Him, and Jesus* said to them,“ Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They* said to Him,“ Yes, Lord.”

And when He later entered a house, away from the crowd, His disciples asked Him about the parable.

Immediately afterward He compelled the disciples to get into the boat and to go ahead of Him to the other side, while He sent the crowds away.

And sending away the crowds, Jesus got into the boat and came to the region of Magadan.

and He did not speak to them without a parable; but He was explaining everything privately to His own disciples.
