So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet:“ I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.”

So the words spoken by the prophet came true. He had said,“ I will open my mouth and tell stories. I will speak about things that were hidden since the world was made.”( Psalm 78:2)

This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet:“ I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.”

which in other generations was not made known to mankind, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit;

Certainly the Lord God does nothing Unless He reveals His secret plan To His servants the prophets.

I was made a minister of this church according to the commission from God granted to me for your benefit, so that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God,that is, the mystery which had been hidden from the past ages and generations, but now has been revealed to His saints,

in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised long ages ago,but at the proper time revealed His word in the proclamation with which I was entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior;

And in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says,‘ You shall keep on listening, but shall not understand; And you shall keep on looking, but shall not perceive;

I will incline my ear to a proverb; I will express my riddle on the harp.

seeking to know what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow.It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, in these things which now have been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven— things into which angels long to look.

But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment than for you.

“ The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss and go to destruction. And those who live on the earth, whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, will wonder when they see the beast, that he was, and is not, and will come.

Now this took place so that what was spoken through the prophet would be fulfilled:“ Say to the daughter of Zion,‘ Behold your King is coming to you, Humble, and mounted on a donkey, Even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.’ ”

God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways,
