門徒乃相語曰：『師曰：「瞬息之間、不得睹予、復一瞬息、又得見予、」又言「予今歸父」者、果何謂耶？』又曰：『所謂「瞬息之間」何謂耶？吾儕實不知其所云。』耶穌心知諸徒欲有所問、乃告之曰：『予言「瞬息之間、不得睹予、復一瞬息、又得見予、」爾乃以此互詢耶？予切實語爾爾將哀悼痛苦、而世將歡忻鼓舞。爾等不免憂心戚戚、然爾等之憂戚、終必化為神樂。

耶穌曰：『天國之蘊奧、賜爾知之、不賜若輩；

耶穌回寓、盲者隨至；乃詢之曰：『爾等果信予能行此乎？』對曰：『主、信也。』

耶穌離眾入室、門徒以此喻為問、

俄而耶穌促門徒登舟先濟彼岸、己則遣散眾人。

耶穌既遣眾散、駕舟至瑪迦塘境。

必近取譬、因人而施也。燕居時、則為門徒闡其精蘊。
