此亦所以應驗先知之言曰：『啟口設諭發古之蘊。』

So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet:“ I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.”

So the words spoken by the prophet came true. He had said,“ I will open my mouth and tell stories. I will speak about things that were hidden since the world was made.”( Psalm 78:2)

This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet:“ I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.”

This fulfilled what God had spoken through the prophet:“ I will speak to you in parables. I will explain things hidden since the creation of the world.”

so that what was spoken through the prophet might be fulfilled: I will open my mouth in parables; I will declare things kept secret from the foundation of the world.

This was so that what was spoken through the prophet would be fulfilled:“ I will open My mouth in parables; I will proclaim things hidden since the foundation of the world.”

我要開口說比喻；我要說出古時的謎語，

又使眾人都明白，這歷代以來隱藏在創造萬物之神裏的奧祕是如何安排的，

我們講的，乃是從前所隱藏、神奧祕的智慧，就是神在萬世以前預定使我們得榮耀的。

惟有神能照我所傳的福音和所講的耶穌基督，並照永古隱藏不言的奧祕，堅固你們的心。這奧祕如今顯明出來，而且按着永生神的命，藉眾先知的書指示萬國的民，使他們信服真道。

基督在創世以前是預先被神知道的，卻在這末世才為你們顯現。你們也因着他，信那叫他從死裏復活、又給他榮耀的神，叫你們的信心和盼望都在於神。

父啊，我在哪裏，願你所賜給我的人也同我在那裏，叫他們看見你所賜給我的榮耀；因為創立世界以前，你已經愛我了。

於是王要向那右邊的說：『你們這蒙我父賜福的，可來承受那創世以來為你們所預備的國；

這奧祕在以前的世代沒有叫人知道，像如今藉着聖靈啟示他的聖使徒和先知一樣。

主耶和華若不將奧祕指示他的僕人－眾先知，就一無所行。

我照神為你們所賜我的職分作了教會的執事，要把神的道理傳得全備，這道理就是歷世歷代所隱藏的奧祕；但如今向他的聖徒顯明了。

盼望那無謊言的神在萬古之先所應許的永生，到了日期，藉着傳揚的工夫把他的道顯明了；這傳揚的責任是按着神－我們救主的命令交託了我。

看哪，先前的事已經成就，現在我將新事說明，這事未發以先，我就說給你們聽。

凡住在地上、名字從創世以來沒有記在被殺之羔羊生命冊上的人，都要拜牠。

在他們身上，正應了以賽亞的預言，說：你們聽是要聽見，卻不明白；看是要看見，卻不曉得；

神救了我們，以聖召召我們，不是按我們的行為，乃是按他的旨意和恩典；這恩典是萬古之先，在基督耶穌裏賜給我們的，但如今藉着我們救主基督耶穌的顯現才表明出來了。他已經把死廢去，藉着福音，將不能壞的生命彰顯出來。

我要側耳聽比喻，用琴解謎語。

就是考察在他們心裏基督的靈，預先證明基督受苦難，後來得榮耀，是指着甚麼時候，並怎樣的時候。他們得了啟示，知道他們所傳講的一切事，不是為自己，乃是為你們。那靠着從天上差來的聖靈傳福音給你們的人，現在將這些事報給你們；天使也願意詳細察看這些事。

當審判的日子，泰爾、西頓所受的，比你們還容易受呢！

你所看見的獸，先前有，如今沒有，將要從無底坑裏上來，又要歸於沉淪。凡住在地上、名字從創世以來沒有記在生命冊上的，見先前有、如今沒有、以後再有的獸，就必希奇。

這事成就是要應驗先知的話，說：要對錫安的居民說：看哪，你的王來到你這裏，是溫柔的，又騎着驢，就是騎着驢駒子。」

神既在古時藉着眾先知多次多方地曉諭列祖，

這話是從創世以來顯明這事的主說的。
