此亦所以應驗先知之言曰：『啟口設諭發古之蘊。』

So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet:“ I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.”

So the words spoken by the prophet came true. He had said,“ I will open my mouth and tell stories. I will speak about things that were hidden since the world was made.”( Psalm 78:2)

This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet:“ I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.”

This fulfilled what God had spoken through the prophet:“ I will speak to you in parables. I will explain things hidden since the creation of the world.”

so that what was spoken through the prophet might be fulfilled: I will open my mouth in parables; I will declare things kept secret from the foundation of the world.

我要开口用比喻，把古时隐秘的事说出来，

并且使众人明白那奥秘的救世计划是什么（这奥秘是历代以来隐藏在创造万有的神里面的），

我们所讲的，是从前隐藏的、神奥秘的智慧，就是神在万世以前，为我们的荣耀所预定的；

神能依照我所传的福音和耶稣基督所传的信息，照着他奥秘的启示，坚定你们。这奥秘自古以来秘而不宣，但现在藉着众先知所写的，照着永恒的神的谕旨，已经向万国显明出来，使他们相信而顺服。

基督是在创立世界以前，是神所预知的，却在这末后的世代才为你们显现出来。藉着他，你们信那使他从死人中复活、又给他荣耀的神，叫你们的信心和盼望都在于神。

父啊，我在哪里，愿你赐给我的人也和我同在哪里，让他们看见你赐给我的荣耀，因为在创立世界以前，你已经爱我了。

那时，王要对右边的说：‘蒙我父赐福的，来承受创世以来为你们预备好的国吧。

这奥秘在以前的世代并没有让世人知道，不像现在藉着圣灵启示了圣使徒和先知那样。

如果主耶和华不先把计划向他的仆人众先知显示，他就不会作任何事。

我照着神为你们而赐给我的管家职分，作了教会的仆役，要把神的道，就是历世历代隐藏的奥秘，传得完备。现在这奥秘已经向他的众圣徒显明了。

这都是根据永生的盼望，这永生就是没有谎言的神在万世以前所应许的。到了适当的时候，神就藉着福音的宣讲，把他的道显明出来。照着神我们救主的命令，这宣讲的使命交托了我），

看哪！先前预言过的事已经成就了，现在我说明新的事；它们还没有发生以前，我就先说给你们听了。”

所有住在地上的人，名字没有记在创世以来被杀的羊羔之生命册上的，都要拜它。

以赛亚的预言，正应验在他们身上，他说：‘你们听是听见了，总是不明白；看是看见了，总是不领悟。

神救了我们，以圣召呼召我们，不是按照我们的行为，却是按照他自己的计划和恩典；这恩典是在万世以前，在基督耶稣里赐给了我们的，但现在藉着我们救主基督耶稣的显现，才表明出来。他废掉了死亡，藉着福音把生命和不朽彰显出来。

我要留心聆听箴言；我要弹琴解开谜语。

就是把他们心里基督的灵所预先见证，关于基督要受苦难后来得荣耀，是在什么时候和怎样的情况加以考察。他们蒙了启示，为这些事效力，并不是为自己，而是为你们。现在，藉着传福音给你们的人，靠着从天上差来的圣灵，把这些事传给了你们；甚至天使也很想详细察看这些事。

在审判的时候，推罗和西顿所受的，比你们所受的还轻呢。

你看见的那兽，先前在、现今不在、将来要从无底坑上来，然后走向灭亡。住在世上的人，凡是名字在创世以来没有记在生命册上的，看见了那先前在、现今不在、将来还要出现的兽，就都要惊奇。

这件事应验了先知所说的：“要对锡安的居民﹙“居民”原文作“女子”。﹚说：‘看哪，你的王来到你这里了；他是温柔的，他骑着驴，骑的是小驴。’”

神在古时候，曾经多次用种种方法，藉着先知向我们的祖先说话；

这是自古以来就显明了这些事的主所说的。’
