耶穌把另一個比喻擺在他們面前，說：『天國好像一粒芥菜種；人拿了，種在他的田地裏。

He told them another parable:“ The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field.

耶穌說：『我們要怎樣比擬上帝的國呢？或是說：要用甚麼比喻來表明它呢？它好像一粒芥菜種，種在地上的時候，雖比地上任何種子都小，但種上了以後就發生，成了比任何蔬菜都大，又長出大枝子來，甚至空中的飛鳥也能棲息在它的陰影之下。』

耶穌對他們說：『是因為你們的信心小；我實在告訴你們，如果你們有信心像一粒芥菜種，就是對這座山說：「你從這裏挪到那裏」，它也必挪去的；並且在你們、必沒有一件事是不可能的。』

耶穌把另一個比喻擺在他們面前，說：『天國好比一個人撒好種子在他的田地裏。

主說：『假使你們有信心像一粒芥菜種，就使對這棵黑桑樹說，「你當連根都拔起來，栽在海裏」，它也是會聽從你們的。

耶穌就對人民說起這個比喻來：『有一個人栽了一個葡萄園，租給葡萄園工，就出外去了好久。

他們正聽這些話的時候，因為將近耶路撒冷，又因人們以為上帝的國將要立時就顯出，耶穌便加講了一個比喻，
