所以，時候未到，在主來以前甚麼都不要評斷，他要照出暗中的隱情，揭發人的動機。那時，各人要從上帝那裏得着稱讚。

有些人的罪是明顯的，已先受審判了；有些人的罪是隨後跟着來。

人若不常在我裏面，就像枝子被丟在外面，枯乾了，人撿起來，扔進火裏燒了。

那時你們必再一次看出義人和惡人，事奉上帝和不事奉上帝的人有何差別。」萬軍之耶和華說：「看哪，那日臨近，勢如燒着的火爐，凡狂傲的和行惡的都如碎稭，在那日被燒盡，根與枝條無一存留。

「王又要向那左邊的說：『你們這被詛咒的人，離開我！進入那為魔鬼和他的使者所預備的永火裏去！

撒雜草的仇敵就是魔鬼，收割的時候就是世代的終結，收割的人就是天使。正如把雜草拔出來用火焚燒，世代的終結也要如此。人子要差遣他的使者，把一切使人跌倒的和作惡的從他國裏挑出來，丟在火爐裏，在那裏要哀哭切齒了。那時，義人要在他們父的國裏發出光來，像太陽一樣。有耳的，就應當聽！」

萬民都要聚集在他面前。他要把他們分別出來，好像牧人分別綿羊、山羊一般，

因為堅固的城變為荒涼，成了被撇棄的居所，像曠野一樣；牛犢在那裏吃草，在那裏躺臥，吃盡其中的樹枝。它的枝條一枯乾，就被折斷，婦女用以點火燃燒。因為這百姓蒙昧無知，所以，造他們的必不憐憫他們，造成他們的也不施恩給他們。

半夜有人喊：『看，新郎來了，你們出來迎接他。』那些童女就都起來挑亮她們的燈。愚拙的對聰明的說：『請分點油給我們，因為我們的燈要滅了。』聰明的回答：『恐怕不夠你我用的；你們還是自己到賣油的那裏去買吧。』她們去買的時候，新郎到了。那預備好了的，與他進去共赴婚宴，門就關了。其餘的童女隨後也來了，說：『主啊，主啊，給我們開門！』他卻回答：『我實在告訴你們，我不認識你們。』所以，你們要警醒，因為那日子，那時辰，你們不知道。」

看哪，它已經拋在火中當柴燒，火既燒了兩頭，中間也燒焦了，它還有甚麼用處呢？看哪，它完整的時候尚且不能拿來做工，何況被火燒焦了，還能拿來做工嗎？所以，主耶和華如此說：我怎樣使林中樹裏的葡萄樹在火中當柴燒，我也必照樣對待耶路撒冷的居民。我必向他們變臉；他們雖從火中逃出來，火仍要燒滅他們。我向他們變臉的時候，你們就知道我是耶和華。

那些僕人就出去，到大路上，凡遇見的，不論善惡都招聚了來，宴席上就坐滿了客人。王進來見賓客，看到那裏有一個沒有穿禮服的，就對他說：『朋友，你到這裏來怎麼不穿禮服呢？』那人無言可答。於是王對侍從說：『捆起他的手腳，把他扔在外邊的黑暗裏；在那裏他要哀哭切齒了。』因為被召的人多，選上的人少。」

雖有人起來追逼你，要尋索你的性命，我主的性命在耶和華－你的上帝那裏，如同藏在生命的寶藏中。至於你仇敵的性命，耶和華必甩去，如用機弦甩石一樣。
