祂手拿簸箕，要把穀場清理乾淨，將麥子存入倉裡，用不滅的火把糠秕燒盡。」

所以，時候未到，不可妄下斷語。到主耶穌再來的時候，祂會揭開暗中的隱情，使人心裡的動機顯露。到時候上帝會給各人應得的稱讚。

有些人的罪很明顯，自招審判，有些人的罪日後才暴露出來。

不常在我裡面的人就像丟在外面枯乾的枝子，最後只有被人拾起來丟在火裡燒掉。

那時，你們將再度看出義人與惡人之間的區別，事奉上帝者和不事奉上帝者之間的不同。「萬軍之耶和華說，『那日要來臨了，就像燒紅的火爐，所有狂妄自大、作惡多端的人都要像碎稭一樣被火燒盡，連根帶枝，蕩然無存。

祂手裡拿著簸箕，要清理祂的麥場，把麥子收進倉庫，用不滅的火燒盡糠秕。」

「王又對左邊的人說，『你們這些被咒詛的人，走開！到專為魔鬼及其使者預備的永遠不滅的火裡去吧！

撒毒麥的仇敵就是魔鬼。收割的日子便是世界的末日，收割的工人就是天使。「毒麥怎樣被拔出來丟在火裡燒，同樣，在世界末日的時候，人子也將派天使把一切引人犯罪和作孽的人從祂國裡挑出來，丟進火裡。那時，他們將在那裡哀哭切齒。那時，義人要在他們天父的國度像太陽一樣發出光輝。有耳朵的，都應當聽。

萬民要聚集在祂面前。祂要把他們分開，就像牧人把綿羊和山羊分開一樣。

堅城荒涼，被人遺棄，如同曠野。牛犢在那裡吃草、躺臥，吃光樹枝上的葉子。樹枝枯乾斷落，婦女拿去作柴燒。因為以色列人愚昧無知，所以他們的創造主不憐憫他們，也不向他們施恩。

「到了半夜，忽然聽見有人喊道，『新郎來了！出來迎接吧！』伴娘們醒來，把燈點亮。糊塗的伴娘對聰明的伴娘說，『請給我們一些油吧，因為我們的燈快要滅了！』「聰明的伴娘回答說，『不行，我們的油不夠大家用的，你們去油店買吧！』「當糊塗的伴娘去買油的時候，新郎來了。那些預備好的伴娘跟他一同進去參加婚宴，門就關了。後來，其他伴娘回來了，喊道，『主啊！主啊！請給我們開門吧！』「新郎卻說，『我實在告訴你們，我不認識你們。』「所以，你們要警醒，因為你們不知道我回來的日子和時辰。

它只能用來當柴燒。如果火已經燒了它的兩頭，中間也燒黑了，它還有什麼用呢？它完好無損的時候，尚且不能用來製造工具，被火燒後豈不更沒用了嗎？所以，主耶和華說，我怎樣把林中的葡萄樹丟在火中當柴燒，也必照樣丟棄耶路撒冷的居民。我必嚴懲他們。他們縱然火裡逃生，仍要被火燒滅。我嚴懲他們的時候，他們便知道我是耶和華。

奴僕到街上把遇到的人都請了來，好人壞人都有，大廳裡滿了客人。「王出來會見在座的客人，發現有一個人沒有穿禮服，就問他，『朋友，你來這裡怎麼不穿婚宴的禮服呢？』那人無言以對。王便吩咐侍從，『把他手腳綁起來丟到外面的黑暗裡，讓他在那裡哀哭切齒。』」耶穌又說：「被邀請的人多，選上的人少。」

你就是被人追殺，也會在你的上帝耶和華的保護下安然無恙。你敵人的性命卻要像石頭一樣被耶和華用投石器拋出去。
