Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.And[ some] of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

The great temptations which thine eyes have seen, the signs, and those great miracles:Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.

Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.Who[ is] blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger[ that] I sent? who[ is] blind as[ he that is] perfect, and blind as the LORD’S servant?Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.

But blessed[ are] your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

And when Jesus knew[ it], he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?
