Yet I say to you that in this place there is One greater than the temple.

我告訴你們，有比殿更大的在這裏呢！

但是我告訴你們：比聖殿更大的就在這裡！

我語汝、在此有大於殿者、

吾語汝、於此有大於殿者、

我告爾、在此有大於聖殿者、

顧予語爾、在斯有大於聖殿者焉。爾苟了悟

I tell you that something greater than the temple is here.

I tell you that something more important than the temple is here.

I tell you, something greater than the temple is here.

I tell you, there is one here who is even greater than the Temple!

The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here.The queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and indeed a greater than Solomon is here.

“ Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming,” Says the Lord of hosts.

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;

“ But will God indeed dwell with men on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less this temple which I have built!

Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious,you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Jesus answered and said to them,“ Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”Then the Jews said,“ It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?”But He was speaking of the temple of His body.

having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctifies the gold?And,‘ Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is obliged to perform it.’Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that sanctifies the gift?Therefore he who swears by the altar, swears by it and by all things on it.He who swears by the temple, swears by it and by Him who dwells in it.

and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts.‘ The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts.‘ The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts.‘ And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.”
