All the crowds were amazed and said,“ Could this one be the Son of David?”

眾駭曰、此大衛之裔乎、

眾皆駭異曰、此非大衛之子乎、

耶穌康復之；於是口能言、而目能視矣。眾愕然曰：『此其大維之子歟！』

All the people were astonished and said,“ Could this be the Son of David?”

All the people were amazed. They said,“ Could this be the Son of David?”

And all the people were amazed, and said,“ Can this be the Son of David?”

The crowd was amazed and asked,“ Could it be that Jesus is the Son of David, the Messiah?”

All the crowds were astounded and said,“ Could this be the Son of David?”

And all the crowds were amazed and were saying,“ This man cannot be the Son of David, can he?”

And all the multitudes were amazed and said,“ Could this be the Son of David?”

As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, shouting,“ Have mercy on us, Son of David!”

“ What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is he?” They said,“ The son of David.”He said to them,“ How then does David by the Spirit call him‘ Lord,’ saying,

When they heard these words, some of the crowd began to say,“ This really is the Prophet!”Others said,“ This is the Christ!” But still others said,“ No, for the Christ doesn’t come from Galilee, does he?Don’t the scriptures say that the Christ is a descendant of David and comes from Bethlehem, the village where David lived?”

The crowds that went ahead of him and those following kept shouting,“ Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”

“ Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Surely he can’t be the Messiah, can he?”

After the demon was cast out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowds were amazed and said,“ Never has anything like this been seen in Israel!”

Then large crowds came to him bringing with them the lame, blind, crippled, mute, and many others. They laid them at his feet, and he healed them.As a result, the crowd was amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled healthy, the lame walking, and the blind seeing, and they praised the God of Israel.

A Canaanite woman from that area came and cried out,“ Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is horribly demon- possessed!”
