公義之父乎！世不識父、予則識父、而斯輩亦識父之遣予也。父之聖名、予已示之、今後復將示之、使父之所以愛予之愛、得存留於彼等、而予亦得恆寓於彼等焉。』

正猶父之識予、予之識父也、予且為吾羊舍身致命焉。

須知吾人乃天主之屬、而世俗之人莫非元兇之奴也。吾亦知天主聖子實曾降臨、賜吾澈悟、而認識真主、且吾人已與真實無妄之聖子耶穌基督、結為一體；是真天主、是真永生。

拒其子者、不得其父；認其子者、乃得其父。

人未有見聖父者、惟來自天主者、則曾見之矣。

聖父篤愛聖子、已將一切授諸其手矣。

使天上人間乃至地下一切生靈、莫不聞其名而屈膝、眾口同聲、咸稱耶穌基督為主、而歸榮於天主聖父焉。

誰遣予者、予則知之、以予來自彼處故。』

人未有見天主者、惟聖父懷中之惟一聖子、實已表而出之矣。

嚮者父授子以統治元元之權、欲其以永生溥施父所授子之人也。人能識父為唯一真宰、及父所遣之耶穌基督、則永生即在斯中。

凡父所拔於世而賜於予之人、予已以父名示之。若輩本屬於父、而父以之賜予、其人皆服膺父之慈訓、

耶穌心知聖父已將萬有付於己手、亦知己之來自天主、而歸於天主也、

蓋正如父之起死活人、子亦從心所欲、而賦人以生命。父不予人以黜陟、黜陟之權、已委之於子、欲使眾人敬子如敬父、凡不敬子者、即不敬遣子之父也。予切實告爾、人能聽從吾言、而信仰遣予來者、莫不享受永生、而免譴責、蓋已出死而入生矣。予切實語爾、時將屆矣、今即是也、死者當聞天主聖子之音、而聞之者咸得生焉。蓋父自具生命、賜子亦自具生命。以其為人子故、委以黜陟之權。慎勿以此為怪、蓋時有必至、凡在墓中者當聞厥音而興、善者復活以享永生、惡者復活以受天罰。

統轄受造物、樂此無盡藏。』是知天主已將天地萬有、交其掌管、而絕無例外也。惟此事至今尚未實現；今所見者、乃耶穌降生為人時、本輸天神一籌、俾藉天主之聖寵、為普世生靈親嘗死亡之味；及其既死、則已冠以光榮尊貴之冕矣。夫天主乃萬物之所歸、萬物之所始也；既欲藉其聖子、以登其眾子於光榮之域、則其以憂戚苦難磨練眾子之救主、以玉之於成、不亦宜乎？

基督今已昇天、位於天主右、一切天神及權德諸品、莫不翕然順服、統於一尊。

蓋此神力、天主實已先施於基督之身、起之於死中、升之於諸天、位之於己右、超軼乎一切爵、權、德、統、諸品天神、及今世來世一切可名之名之上。置天地萬物於其足下、立之為全教會至高無上之元首、而以教會為其身軀。蓋基督涵覆萬有、而教會實為之輔翼也。

蓋基督之乘權也、以俟天主之伏眾敵於其足下也。最後勁敵、實為死亡、終亦被滅；此亦天主制伏萬物於基督足下之真義也。雖謂萬物皆受其制、然制之者、固未始受其制也。
