We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. and put everything under their feet.” In putting everything under them, God left nothing that is not subject to them. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to them.But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered. who has gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand— with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him. (niv)

he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church,which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.The last enemy to be destroyed is death.For he“ has put everything under his feet.” Now when it says that“ everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. (niv)
