理味設盛筵、款耶穌於其家。同席者有稅吏、及其他多人。法利塞人與經生見而不悅、謂耶穌門徒曰：『爾等胡為與稅吏罪人共席？』

禮日、耶穌入法利塞總董家用膳、眾目注之、欲覘其動靜。

移時、耶穌讌於其家、稅吏罪人、魚貫而至、與耶穌及諸徒同席。法利塞人見之、謂其徒曰：『爾師奚為與稅吏罪人同食？』

眾見而非議曰：『彼竟投宿罪人家耶！』

眾與稅吏、咸受洗於如望、聞其言莫不稱頌天主至德；

稅吏罪人群趨耶穌聆訓、經生與法利塞人竊議其接納罪人、且與同席、

人子之來也、食焉飲焉、而爾則曰：「盍視彼人、饕餮也、酒徒也、稅吏罪人之友也。」是惟智德之子、能識智德之蘊耳。』一法利塞宴耶穌、耶穌乃入其家、既坐席、

而於蒙召之人、無論其國籍之為猶太或希臘、則為天主之德能與神慧也。蓋天主之愚、猶智於世人之智；而天主之柔、猶剛於世人之剛耳。願吾兄弟一思其聖召之所在。爾中鮮有世俗之所謂哲人、亦鮮有強有力者、與出身於貴族之人、雖然、世俗所視為愚者、天主則簡拔之、以愧眾哲；世俗所視為弱者、天主則簡拔之、以勝強有力者；世俗所認為卑卑不足道而視若無物者、天主則簡拔之、以毀滅有名無實之徒；庶幾血肉之身、無敢自衒自誇於天主之前。

諦觀大猷。令我心醉。心醉如何。歡歌不已。功德浩浩。不可思議。聖衷淵淵。經天緯地。

耶穌及諸徒、亦被邀赴宴。

人人應俯就其鄰友、扶掖其後進、以成其善。

時見群神、繞寶座及靈物諸老而環立、其數千千萬萬、聞其揚聲而言曰：「獻作祭牲之羔羊、允有大德、宜其受權、宜其受富、宜其受慧、宜其受能、宜其受尊、宜其受榮、宜其受祉！」又聞天上、人間、地下、海中一切眾生、同聲而呼曰：「願寶座之主及羔羊受享一切靈祉、一切尊榮、一切權能、永世靡暨！」四靈物應曰：「心焉祝之。」諸老俯伏而頂禮焉。

人為耶穌設宴、瑪大侍、而賴柴魯與之同席。瑪麗攜香膏一斤、純且珍、敷耶穌足、以髮拭之、異香滿室。而門徒茹答斯依斯加略、即日後鬻主者、責曰：『何不售此膏、得三百銀錢、以濟貧者乎？』然彼作斯言非在恤貧、蓋其貪污成性、掌囊而恆竊所貯耳。耶穌乃曰：『聽之、勿阻！蓋此女子之所為、所以備吾殮也！爾等常有貧者與俱、而予則非爾等所得而常有。』

「願我天主受享一切頌讚、一切光榮、一切妙慧、一切稱謝、一切尊貴、一切權能、永世靡暨、心焉祝之！」

夫我乃諸聖中之至微者、竟亦蒙此殊恩、得在異邦人中弘宣基督不可思議之厚澤、使舉世之人、咸得領會造物主自始隱藏之救世玄謨。不惟世人、即天上之爵權諸品天神、亦有賴於教會、始得窺見天主神妙不測之智慧，
