And they will be called righteous trees, planted by the Lord to glorify Him.

You are My friends if you do what I command you.

He was teaching in their synagogues, being acclaimed by everyone.He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. As usual, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath day and stood up to read.The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to Him, and unrolling the scroll, He found the place where it was written:The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim freedom to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free the oppressed,to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.He then rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. And the eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on Him.He began by saying to them,“ Today as you listen, this Scripture has been fulfilled.”

Soon afterward He was traveling from one town and village to another, preaching and telling the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with Him,

For you know what commands we gave you through the Lord Jesus.

Jesus was going all over Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.

And He said to them,“ Let’s go on to the neighboring villages so that I may preach there too. This is why I have come.”So He went into all of Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.

Then Jesus went to all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness.

If you keep My commands you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commands and remain in His love.

He commanded us to preach to the people and to solemnly testify that He is the One appointed by God to be the Judge of the living and the dead.

until the day He was taken up, after He had given orders through the Holy Spirit to the apostles He had chosen.

Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from every brother who walks irresponsibly and not according to the tradition received from us.

teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

When Jesus had finished this sermon, the crowds were astonished at His teaching,

to keep the command without fault or failure until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.
