As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him,“ Follow Me.” So he arose and followed Him.

The following day Jesus wanted to go to Galilee, and He found Philip and said to him,“ Follow Me.”Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.Philip found Nathanael and said to him,“ We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote— Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”And Nathanael said to him,“ Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him,“ Come and see.”

Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came.The other disciples therefore said to him,“ We have seen the Lord.” So he said to them,“ Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said,“ Peace to you!”Then He said to Thomas,“ Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.”And Thomas answered and said to Him,“ My Lord and my God!”Jesus said to him,“ Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Then they came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying,“ Sir, we wish to see Jesus.”Philip came and told Andrew, and in turn Andrew and Philip told Jesus.

Simon Peter, Thomas called the Twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together.

Then Thomas, who is called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples,“ Let us also go, that we may die with Him.”

As He passed by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax office. And He said to him,“ Follow Me.” So he arose and followed Him.

Simon, whom He also named Peter, and Andrew his brother; James and John; Philip and Bartholomew;Matthew and Thomas; James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called the Zealot;Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot who also became a traitor.

and when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that had been given to me, they gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.

James, a bondservant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad: Greetings.

On the following day Paul went in with us to James, and all the elders were present.

But I saw none of the other apostles except James, the Lord’s brother.

But motioning to them with his hand to keep silent, he declared to them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said,“ Go, tell these things to James and to the brethren.” And he departed and went to another place.

Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, To those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ:

After these things He went out and saw a tax collector named Levi, sitting at the tax office. And He said to him,“ Follow Me.”

And after they had become silent, James answered, saying,“ Men and brethren, listen to me:

Judas( not Iscariot) said to Him,“ Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?”

Jesus said to him,“ Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say,‘ show us the Father’?

among whom were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee’s sons.

Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip,“ Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?”But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do.Philip answered Him,“ Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.”
