And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James[ the son] of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas[ the brother] of James.

And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.

The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.

But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them:[ then] came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace[ be] unto you.Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust[ it] into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed[ are] they that have not seen, and[ yet] have believed.

The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus.

There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the[ sons] of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.

Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellowdisciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him.

And as he passed by, he saw Levi the[ son] of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

Simon,( whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,Matthew and Thomas, James the[ son] of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes,And Judas[ the brother] of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.

And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we[ should go] unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

And the[ day] following Paul went in with us unto James; and all the elders were present.

But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord’s brother.

But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go shew these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he departed, and went into another place.

Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ,[ and] called:

And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me.

And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Men[ and] brethren, hearken unto me:

Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou[ then], Shew us the Father?

Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee’s children.

When Jesus then lifted up[ his] eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.
