Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus.

One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him,

After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.

And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.

And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed[ it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping[ him], and desiring a certain thing of him.

And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.

Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.

This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,

That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship[ is] with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

And forthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.

Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?

And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.

And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,

And Simon he surnamed Peter;And James the[ son] of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the[ son] of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.

Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer,[ being] the ninth[ hour].

And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.

There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the[ sons] of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.

One of the two which heard John[ speak], and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.

Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and[ some] of them they shall slay and persecute:

And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them, and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified[ it] by his angel unto his servant John:

And I John saw these things, and heard[ them]. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
