rendering vengeance to them that know not God, and to them that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus:who shall suffer punishment, even eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might,when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be marvelled at in all them that believed( because our testimony unto you was believed) in that day.

Though a sinner do evil a hundred times, and prolong his days, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, that fear before him:but it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.

Women received their dead by a resurrection: and others were tortured, not accepting their deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

And if thy hand cause thee to stumble, cut it off: it is good for thee to enter into life maimed, rather than having thy two hands to go into hell, into the unquenchable fire.

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of judgment.

My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; And I am afraid of thy judgments.

Then Paul answered, What do ye, weeping and breaking my heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.
