智慧大呼於街市、發聲於通衢、呼於會集之首區、揚言於邑門與城內、曰、樸拙者好樸拙、侮慢者樂侮慢、愚蠢者惡知識、將至何時乎、我加斥責、爾當回轉、我將以我靈注爾、以我言示爾、

曰上帝國之奧、賜爾知之、惟於他人則設喻、俾其視而不明、聽而不悟、

是日耶穌出室、坐海濱、羣眾集就之、遂登舟而坐、眾立於岸、乃多端設喻語之、曰、有播種者、出而播種、播時、有落道旁者、鳥至盡食之、有落磽地者、厥土無多、以其淺薄、發萌則速、日出曝之、無根而槁、有落棘中者、棘起蔽之、有落沃壤者、結實、或百倍、或六十倍、或三十倍、有耳者宜聽焉、○門徒就之曰、爾以喻語眾、何也、曰、天國之奧、予爾知之、不予他人也、蓋有者將予之使有餘、無者並其所有、亦將奪之、故我以喻語之、因其視而不見、聽而不聞、亦不悟也、以應以賽亞預言云、爾將聽而不聰、視而不明、蓋斯民心頑、耳聵、自閉其目、恐目視、耳聽、心悟、轉移而我醫之、惟爾目福矣、以其見也、爾耳福矣、以其聞也、我誠語汝、昔先知義人多欲見爾所見、而不得見、聞爾所聞、而不得聞、

我有此望、故侃侃而言、

智慧非呼召、明哲非發聲乎、立於路旁之阜上、四達之衢中、在於邑門、入邑之區、月城之場、大聲呼曰、人歟、我向爾曹呼召、我向世人揚聲、爾曹庸人、當知聰睿、愚者心宜通明、

此皆耶穌以喻語眾、非喻無所語之、應先知所言云、我將啟口設喻、闡創世以來之秘、○

凡此我曾以喻語爾、時至、我不復以喻語爾、乃以父明示於爾、

乃在會堂、與猶太人、及敬虔者辯論、且日在市、與所遇者亦然、
