Therefore don’t be afraid of them, for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed; and hidden that will not be known.

Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.

“ Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law. Don’t fear the reproach of men, and don’t be dismayed at their insults.For the moth will eat them up like a garment, and the worm will eat them like wool; but my righteousness will be forever, and my salvation to all generations.”

But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.Therefore whatever you have said in the darkness will be heard in the light. What you have spoken in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.“ I tell you, my friends, don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.But I will warn you whom you should fear. Fear him who after he has killed, has power to cast into Gehenna. Yes, I tell you, fear him.“ Aren’t five sparrows sold for two assaria coins? Not one of them is forgotten by God.But the very hairs of your head are all counted. Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.“ I tell you, everyone who confesses me before men, the Son of Man will also confess before the angels of God;but he who denies me in the presence of men will be denied in the presence of God’s angels.

The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe.

Don’t be afraid, you worm Jacob, and you men of Israel. I will help you,” says Yahweh.“ Your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

Who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die, and of the son of man who will be made as grass?Have you forgotten Yahweh your Maker, who stretched out the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth? Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

The wicked flee when no one pursues; but the righteous are as bold as a lion.

You, son of man, don’t be afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you, and you dwell among scorpions. Don’t be afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.

But Peter and John answered them,“ Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, judge for yourselves,

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”

and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled. They recognized that they had been with Jesus.
