But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.”

“ Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say.

“ Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king,“ O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”

“ Therefore do not worry, saying,‘ What shall we eat?’ or‘ What shall we drink?’ or‘ What shall we wear?’

But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear. Also I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

Now you shall speak to him and put the words in his mouth. And I will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do.

Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me:“ Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.

But the Lord said to me:“ Do not say,‘ I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak.

But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name’s sake.But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony.Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer;for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist.You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death.And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake.

Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them,“ Rulers of the people and elders of Israel:If we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man, by what means he has been made well,let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole.This is the‘ stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

But Peter and the other apostles answered and said:“ We ought to obey God rather than men.The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree.Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”When they heard this, they were furious and plotted to kill them.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

“ I think myself happy, King Agrippa, because today I shall answer for myself before you concerning all the things of which I am accused by the Jews,especially because you are expert in all customs and questions which have to do with the Jews. Therefore I beg you to hear me patiently.“ My manner of life from my youth, which was spent from the beginning among my own nation at Jerusalem, all the Jews know.They knew me from the first, if they were willing to testify, that according to the strictest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee.And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made by God to our fathers.To this promise our twelve tribes, earnestly serving God night and day, hope to attain. For this hope’s sake, King Agrippa, I am accused by the Jews.Why should it be thought incredible by you that God raises the dead?“ Indeed, I myself thought I must do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.This I also did in Jerusalem, and many of the saints I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I cast my vote against them.And I punished them often in every synagogue and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly enraged against them, I persecuted them even to foreign cities.
