天神曰：『予乃素侍主前之嘉必爾也。今奉使來語、報茲嘉音、屆時必驗、汝乃不吾信；

靜候主好音。長夜豈無曙。一心惟盼主。指我當行路。

第六月、天主遣天神嘉必爾、詣加利利納匝勒府、朝報已字大維宗人若瑟之童貞瑪莉雅。天神入室朝見曰：『申爾福、滿被聖寵者、主與爾偕焉、』渠聞聲驚異、默思問安來繇。天神復曰：『瑪莉雅、勿驚！爾實見寵於天主、將孕育一子、當名之曰耶穌。偉哉斯人、宜稱至尊者之子、天主將錫以厥父大維之御座、永王雅谷伯之家、國祚無疆。』瑪莉雅謂天神曰：『予乃童身、此事奚成？』天神對曰：『聖神臨汝、至尊之德庇汝、因是所生聖者、應稱天主子。且汝表姊依灑白爾雖年老胎荒、今亦妊有六月、天主固無所不能也。』瑪莉雅曰：『主之婢女在茲、惟希玉成於我、如爾之言。』天神乃別。

比聞亞爾格老繼乃父希祿為猶太王、不敢前進；復得夢示往加利利、

示我大法。涵泳純熟。

迨希祿既亡、主之天神夢示若瑟於埃及曰：

天神謂婦曰：『毋懼！吾知爾所覓者、乃為被釘死之耶穌。

獻香時、民眾禱於外。忽有主之天神、立於壇右、向之顯現。沙加理一見天神、張皇失措、不勝驚怖。天神曰：『沙加理毋懼、爾禱已蒙垂聽、汝妻依灑白爾、將為爾舉一子、宜名如望。

愁思千萬緒。思主是一樂。

依爾好生德。領回遊蕩子。示彼何所歸。指彼何所履。佑彼謙誠者。克己而復禮。

時郊外牧童未眠、守夜護羊。天神倏見、異光四射、牧童不勝震怖。天神謂曰：『勿驚、予來報爾嘉音、福於普天生靈。救世主基督、適為爾誕生於大維故郡。爾見襁褓嬰臥馬槽者、便是。』群神俄現、誦聲悠揚、曰：『天主受享榮福於天！良人受享平安於地！』

哲士既返、主之天神夢示若瑟曰：『起攜嬰及母奔埃及、居之、以待再示、蓋希祿將欲搜嬰以殺之也。』

若瑟以大維族系、亦自加利利之納匝勒、詣猶太大維故郡百利恆；
