He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the Lord will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness,

夫肉身之父之教訓吾人也，不過數春、且多憑其私意而行之；若夫天主之所為、則必於吾人為有益、欲使吾人同化於彼之聖德耳。

以聖道和水、洗之使潔、俾其成聖、為己造就光華燦爛之教會、既無瑕疵、又無縐容、惠中秀外、玉潔冰清。

天主神也、故禮之者亦宜以神與誠禮之耳。』婦曰：『吾知美使將臨、是謂基督、迨彼之臨、必能曉示吾人以一切矣。』

兄弟乎、我憑天主之仁慈、剴切求爾獻身天主、而為有生之犧牲、聖潔無疵、以邀天主之悅納；此即內心事主之道也。

吾勸爾向我購置百煉之金、俾成真富；純白之衣、用掩爾羞；傅目之膏、以啟爾視。

故望爾等、恆因耶穌而獻天主以頌美之祭、萬口誦芬、結成薦菓。同時亦毋忘樂善助人、斯亦祭也；欲慰悅天心、莫善於此矣。

而爾等則為蒙選之族、赫赫司祭、雍雍神國實天主之眷屬也。天主既召爾等出於黑暗入於靈光、爾等可不表彰大德乎。

如望對眾曰：『吾第以水洗爾、將有威力超我者來、吾雖為之釋履、亦非所宜稱；渠將洗爾以聖神與靈火、

清夜當捫心。一省順與逆。

賜我鍛鍊。如銀在鑪。

殷勤籲天主。慰我引領望。向主獻心禱。宛如薦馨香。舉手抒仰慕。應同晚祭芳。

爾等亦當勉成具有生命之小石、俾充建造聖殿之材料、而作神聖之司鐸；仰賴耶穌基督、奉獻精神上之祭祀以望天主之悅納、

如今予已綽綽有餘；蓋爾托伊巴弗提所賜多珍、悉已謹領；此不惟使予裕如、即在天主臺前、亦猶一瓣心香、無瑕之牲、焉有不蒙悅納者乎。

不寧惟是、苟能有補於爾等之信德、即須傾流吾血、以作獻祭之酒、亦所甘心；且將因爾等之樂而樂焉。

然此乃所以鍛鍊爾之信德、而於耶穌基督顯現之日、玉成爾之光榮及天爵耳。夫黃金乃必朽之物、尚且以火煉之；而信德固貴於黃金也。

須知予已準備舍生致命矣。予之解脫、即在目前；

主必憐予之窮苦而無告兮。置予於高岡。予欲歌頌聖名兮。揄揚洪恩。

基督垂愛吾人、以其寶血滌除吾人之罪；復使吾人自成神國、俾得充其天主聖父之司鐸；伏願光榮威權、永世歸之、萬代靡暨、心焉祝之。

懷恩以為祭。賜爾弘玄德。整飭爾行為。救恩徒手得。

可不稱謝。再造之恩。可不獻祭。慶此更生。

得在異邦人中充任基督耶穌之役、不得不勉盡司鐸之職、以弘宣基督之福音、務使異邦人受聖神之感化、而超凡入聖、俾我獻之於天主之前、而蒙其悅納。

敬獻謝恩祭。恭祝聖名芳。

親愛之同道乎、爾等之受煆煉、所以玉汝於成、切勿大驚小怪、一若遭遇不測也者。應知此乃可喜之事。蓋爾等既得與基督共患難、則於彼光榮顯現之日、必得與之同樂、將不知手之舞之、足之蹈之矣。

懷恩是眞祭。篤行爾所諾。

為王為鐸兮、統御寰域。
