Your words have been stout against me, saith Jehovah. Yet ye say, What have we spoken against thee?

耶和华说：“你们用话顶撞我，你们还说：‘我们用什么话顶撞了你呢？’

耶和华说：“你们用话顶撞我。”你们却说：“我们说了什么话顶撞你呢？”

耶和华说：“你们用话顶撞我。”你们却说：“我们说了什么话顶撞你呢？”

耶和华说：“你们出言毁谤我，还问，‘我们怎么毁谤你了？’

耶和华说：“你们用无礼的话顶撞我。你们还问：‘我们用什么话顶撞了你呢？’

耶和华说：“你们用话语顶撞我，还问：‘我们是怎么用话语顶撞你的呢？’

耶和華說：「你們用話頂撞我，你們還說：『我們用甚麼話頂撞了你呢？』

耶和華說：「你們用話頂撞我。」你們卻說：「我們說了甚麼話頂撞你呢？」

耶和華說：「你們用話頂撞我。」你們卻說：「我們說了甚麼話頂撞你呢？」

耶和華說：「你們出言譭謗我，還問，『我們怎麼譭謗你了？』

耶和華說：“你們用無禮的話頂撞我。你們還問：‘我們用甚麼話頂撞了你呢？’

永恆主說：『你們的話說得很硬來頂撞我；你們卻還問說：「我們說甚麼話來頂撞你呢？」

耶和華說：「你們用話語頂撞我，還問：『我們是怎麼用話語頂撞你的呢？』

耶和華曰、爾以狂悖之言逆我、乃曰、我以何言逆爾乎、

耶和華曰、爾出言不遜、違逆乎我、爾曰、予以何詞悖爾哉、

主曰、爾出言不遜、爾出言不遜或作爾以狂悖之言議論我、爾曰、我以何詞議論主乎、

“ You have spoken arrogantly against me,” says the Lord.“ Yet you ask,‘ What have we said against you?’

“ You have spoken with pride against me,” says the Lord.“ But you ask,‘ What have we spoken against you?’

“ Your words have been hard against me, says the Lord. But you say,‘ How have we spoken against you?’

“ You have said terrible things about me,” says the Lord.“ But you say,‘ What do you mean? What have we said against you?’

“ Your words against me are harsh,” says the LORD. Yet you ask,“ What have we spoken against you?”

“ Your words have been arrogant against Me,” says the Lord.“ Yet you say,‘ What have we spoken against You?’

“ Your words have been harsh against Me,” Says the Lord,“ Yet you say,‘ What have we spoken against You?’

“ Your words against Me are harsh,” says the Lord. Yet you ask:“ What have we spoken against You?”

Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken[ so much] against thee?

“ You have criticized me sharply,” says the LORD,“ but you ask,‘ How have we criticized you?’

“ Your words have been stout against me,” says Yahweh.“ Yet you say,‘ What have we spoken against you?’

Ye have wearied Jehovah with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? In that ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of Jehovah, and he delighteth in them; or where is the God of justice?

Wilt thou even annul my judgment? Wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be justified?

Whom hast thou defied and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.

Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why didst thou make me thus?

he that opposeth and exalteth himself against all that is called God or that is worshipped; so that he sitteth in the temple of God, setting himself forth as God.

And Pharaoh said, Who is Jehovah, that I should hearken unto his voice to let Israel go? I know not Jehovah, and moreover I will not let Israel go.

He saith in his heart: God hath forgotten; He hideth his face, he will never see it.

What man is like Job, Who drinketh up scoffing like water,Who goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, And walketh with wicked men?

Who was there among all the gods of those nations which my fathers utterly destroyed, that could deliver his people out of my hand, that your God should be able to deliver you out of my hand?Now therefore let not Hezekiah deceive you, nor persuade you after this manner, neither believe ye him; for no god of any nation or kingdom was able to deliver his people out of my hand, and out of the hand of my fathers: how much less shall your God deliver you out of my hand?And his servants spake yet more against Jehovah God, and against his servant Hezekiah.He wrote also letters, to rail on Jehovah, the God of Israel, and to speak against him, saying, As the gods of the nations of the lands, which have not delivered their people out of my hand, so shall not the God of Hezekiah deliver his people out of my hand.And they cried with a loud voice in the Jews’ language unto the people of Jerusalem that were on the wall, to affright them, and to trouble them; that they might take the city.And they spake of the God of Jerusalem, as of the gods of the peoples of the earth, which are the work of men’s hands.

that say, Let him make speed, let him hasten his work, that we may see it; and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it!

Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall; in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, saith Jehovah.

Will a man rob God? yet ye rob me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because Jehovah hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously, though she is thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

Wherefore hear the word of Jehovah, ye scoffers, that rule this people that is in Jerusalem:Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us; for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

A son honoreth his father, and a servant his master: if then I am a father, where is mine honor? and if I am a master, where is my fear? saith Jehovah of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar. And ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of Jehovah is contemptible.And when ye offer the blind for sacrifice, it is no evil! and when ye offer the lame and sick, it is no evil! Present it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee? or will he accept thy person? saith Jehovah of hosts.
