Cursed be the cheat who has a male in his flock, and vows it, and yet sacrifices to the Lord what is blemished. For I am a great King, says the Lord of hosts, and my name will be feared among the nations.

可咒詛啊、行詐騙的人！他的羣中有公的；他也許過願了，卻用有損壞的祭獻給主！其實我是至大的王，萬軍之永恆主說：我的名在列國中是可畏懼的啊。

萬軍之耶和華說：「行詭詐的人是受詛咒的——他的畜群中雖有無瑕疵的公畜，他也已經許願要獻上，卻把有瑕疵的動物祭獻給主！要知道，我是大君王，我的名在列國中是可畏的。」

譎者許願、羣中原有牡牲、乃以殘廢之牲獻主、其人可詛、我乃大君、我名在列邦中為可畏、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、

萬有之主耶和華曰、我乃大君、列邦之人、必尊我名、浸假有偽善之人、群中尚有純全之牡羊、乃取其體不全者、獻我為祭、以輸其願、禍必不遠矣。

人若詐偽、群中有純全之牡牲、乃用有殘疾有殘疾或作體不全之牡畜、立願獻於主、斯人可詛、萬有之主曰、我乃至大之君、我名為列邦人所敬畏、

“ Cursed is the cheat who has an acceptable male in his flock and vows to give it, but then sacrifices a blemished animal to the Lord. For I am a great king,” says the Lord Almighty,“ and my name is to be feared among the nations.

“ Suppose you have a male sheep or goat that does not have any flaws. And you promise to offer it to me. But then you sacrifice an animal that has flaws. When you do that, you cheat me. And anyone who cheats me is under my curse. After all, I am a great king,” says the Lord who rules over all.“ The other nations have respect for my name. So why don’t you respect it?

“ Cursed is the cheat who promises to give a fine ram from his flock but then sacrifices a defective one to the Lord. For I am a great king,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies,“ and my name is feared among the nations!

“ The deceiver is cursed who has an acceptable male in his flock and makes a vow but sacrifices a defective animal to the Lord. For I am a great King,” says the LORD of Armies,“ and my name will be feared among the nations.

“ But cursed be the swindler who has a male in his flock and vows it, but sacrifices a blemished animal to the Lord, for I am a great King,” says the Lord of armies,“ and My name is feared among the nations.”

“ But cursed be the deceiver Who has in his flock a male, And takes a vow, But sacrifices to the Lord what is blemished— For I am a great King,” Says the Lord of hosts,“ And My name is to be feared among the nations.

But cursed be the deceiver, who hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a blemished thing; for I am a great King, saith Jehovah of hosts, and my name is terrible among the Gentiles.

“ The deceiver is cursed who has an acceptable male in his flock and makes a vow but sacrifices a defective animal to the Lord. For I am a great King,” says Yahweh of Hosts,“ and My name will be feared among the nations.

But cursed[ be] the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I[ am] a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name[ is] dreadful among the heathen.

“ There will be harsh condemnation for the hypocrite who has a valuable male animal in his flock but vows and sacrifices something inferior to the Lord. For I am a great king,” says the LORD who rules over all,“ and my name is awesome among the nations.”

“ But the deceiver is cursed, who has in his flock a male, and vows, and sacrifices to the Lord a defective thing; for I am a great King,” says Yahweh of Armies,“ and my name is awesome among the nations.”

And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be one and his name one.

For the Lord, the Most High, is to be feared, a great king over all the earth.

which he will display at the proper time— he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords,

who cuts off the spirit of princes, who is to be feared by the kings of the earth.

And he sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the offering box. Many rich people put in large sums.And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny.And he called his disciples to him and said to them,“ Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box.For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.”

When you vow a vow to God, do not delay paying it, for he has no pleasure in fools. Pay what you vow.It is better that you should not vow than that you should vow and not pay.

Awesome is God from his sanctuary; the God of Israel— he is the one who gives power and strength to his people. Blessed be God!

For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.

You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing me, the whole nation of you.

But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

In the meantime, when so many thousands of the people had gathered together that they were trampling one another, he began to say to his disciples first,“ Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are right and his ways are just; and those who walk in pride he is able to humble.

Israel has sinned; they have transgressed my covenant that I commanded them; they have taken some of the devoted things; they have stolen and lied and put them among their own belongings.Therefore the people of Israel cannot stand before their enemies. They turn their backs before their enemies, because they have become devoted for destruction. I will be with you no more, unless you destroy the devoted things from among you.

“ Cursed is he who does the work of the Lord with slackness, and cursed is he who keeps back his sword from bloodshed.

When you offer blind animals in sacrifice, is that not evil? And when you offer those that are lame or sick, is that not evil? Present that to your governor; will he accept you or show you favor? says the Lord of hosts.

the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will cut him in pieces and put him with the unfaithful.

But the Lord is the true God; he is the living God and the everlasting King. At his wrath the earth quakes, and the nations cannot endure his indignation.

for our God is a consuming fire.

She has done what she could; she has anointed my body beforehand for burial.

For from the rising of the sun to its setting my name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering. For my name will be great among the nations, says the Lord of hosts.

“ Speak to Aaron and his sons and all the people of Israel and say to them, When any one of the house of Israel or of the sojourners in Israel presents a burnt offering as his offering, for any of their vows or freewill offerings that they offer to the Lord,if it is to be accepted for you it shall be a male without blemish, of the bulls or the sheep or the goats.You shall not offer anything that has a blemish, for it will not be acceptable for you.And when anyone offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to the Lord to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering from the herd or from the flock, to be accepted it must be perfect; there shall be no blemish in it.

or by the earth, for it is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.

I prayed to the Lord my God and made confession, saying,“ O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments,

Perhaps my father will feel me, and I shall seem to be mocking him and bring a curse upon myself and not a blessing.”

Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.”

For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

“ If you are not careful to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and awesome name, the Lord your God,

beautiful in elevation, is the joy of all the earth, Mount Zion, in the far north, the city of the great King.

But a man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property,and with his wife’s knowledge he kept back for himself some of the proceeds and brought only a part of it and laid it at the apostles’ feet.But Peter said,“ Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land?While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to man but to God.”When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and breathed his last. And great fear came upon all who heard of it.The young men rose and wrapped him up and carried him out and buried him.After an interval of about three hours his wife came in, not knowing what had happened.And Peter said to her,“ Tell me whether you sold the land for so much.” And she said,“ Yes, for so much.”But Peter said to her,“ How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”Immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. When the young men came in they found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.

For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:“ I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite.
