But you say,‘ What a weariness this is,’ and you snort at it, says the Lord of hosts. You bring what has been taken by violence or is lame or sick, and this you bring as your offering! Shall I accept that from your hand? says the Lord.

你们又说：‘唉，真麻烦！’你们就嗤之以鼻。”耶和华说：“你们把抢来的、瘸腿的和有病的带来作礼物，我怎能从你们的手中收受呢？”

你们不但说：‘看，真烦哪！’而且对主的桌子嗤之以鼻。你们把抢来的、瘸腿的、患病的动物带来——竟然带来作供物！难道我会从你们的手中悦纳它们吗？”这是耶和华说的。

你們還心裏說：「哼，多麼膩啊！」遂嗤之以鼻！萬軍之永恆主說。你們將被搶奪過的、瘸腿的、有病的帶來，獻為供物，我哪能從你們手中收納這個呢？永恆主說。

你們不但說：『看，真煩哪！』而且對主的桌子嗤之以鼻。你們把搶來的、瘸腿的、患病的動物帶來——竟然帶來作供物！難道我會從你們的手中悅納牠們嗎？」這是耶和華說的。

萬軍之耶和華曰、爾謂行此諸事、何其煩勞、遂輕慢之、耶和華曰、爾以所強奪者、及跛牲病牲、獻之為祭、我豈由爾手而納之乎、

萬有之主耶和華曰、爾曰、供饌徒勞、何益之有、遂以跛疾斷傷之牲、獻之為祭、我耶和華豈悅納爾哉、

萬有之主曰、爾屢言獻祭勞煩、遂加輕慢、更以搶奪跛足有疾之牲、獻之為祭、我豈納之於爾手乎、主已言之矣、

And you say,‘ What a burden!’ and you sniff at it contemptuously,” says the Lord Almighty.“ When you bring injured, lame or diseased animals and offer them as sacrifices, should I accept them from your hands?” says the Lord.

You say,‘ What a heavy load our work is!’ And you turn up your nose. You act as if you hate working for me,” says the Lord who rules over all.“ You bring animals that have been hurt. Or you bring disabled or sick animals. Then you dare to offer them to me as sacrifices! Should I accept them from you?” says the Lord.

You say,‘ It’s too hard to serve the Lord,’ and you turn up your noses at my commands,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.“ Think of it! Animals that are stolen and crippled and sick are being presented as offerings! Should I accept from you such offerings as these?” asks the Lord.

You also say,‘ Look, what a nuisance!’ And you scorn it,” says the LORD of Armies.“ You bring stolen, lame, or sick animals. You bring this as an offering! Am I to accept that from your hands?” asks the LORD.

You also say,‘ See, how tiresome it is!’ And you view it as trivial,” says the Lord of armies,“ and you bring what was taken by robbery and what is lame or sick; so you bring the offering! Should I accept it from your hand?” says the Lord.

You also say,‘ Oh, what a weariness!’ And you sneer at it,” Says the Lord of hosts.“ And you bring the stolen, the lame, and the sick; Thus you bring an offering! Should I accept this from your hand?” Says the Lord.

Ye say also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith Jehovah of hosts; and ye have brought that which was taken by violence, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye bring the offering: should I accept this at your hand? saith Jehovah.

You say also,‘ Behold, what a weariness it is!’ and you have sniffed at it”, says Yahweh of Armies;“ and you have brought that which was taken by violence, the lame, and the sick; thus you bring the offering. Should I accept this at your hand?” says Yahweh.

“ O my people, what have I done to you? How have I wearied you? Answer me!

There were some who said to themselves indignantly,“ Why was the ointment wasted like that?For this ointment could have been sold for more than three hundred denarii and given to the poor.” And they scolded her.

“ And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.

“ When you come to appear before me, who has required of you this trampling of my courts?

Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, make offerings to Baal, and go after other gods that you have not known,and then come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say,‘ We are delivered!’— only to go on doing all these abominations?Has this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, I myself have seen it, declares the Lord.

And he came and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter,“ Simon, are you asleep? Could you not watch one hour?Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

By offering polluted food upon my altar. But you say,‘ How have we polluted you?’ By saying that the Lord’s table may be despised.When you offer blind animals in sacrifice, is that not evil? And when you offer those that are lame or sick, is that not evil? Present that to your governor; will he accept you or show you favor? says the Lord of hosts.

if it is to be accepted for you it shall be a male without blemish, of the bulls or the sheep or the goats.You shall not offer anything that has a blemish, for it will not be acceptable for you.And when anyone offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to the Lord to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering from the herd or from the flock, to be accepted it must be perfect; there shall be no blemish in it.Animals blind or disabled or mutilated or having a discharge or an itch or scabs you shall not offer to the Lord or give them to the Lord as a food offering on the altar.You may present a bull or a lamb that has a part too long or too short for a freewill offering, but for a vow offering it cannot be accepted.

“ Yet you did not call upon me, O Jacob; but you have been weary of me, O Israel!You have not brought me your sheep for burnt offerings, or honored me with your sacrifices. I have not burdened you with offerings, or wearied you with frankincense.

Why then do you scorn my sacrifices and my offerings that I commanded for my dwelling, and honor your sons above me by fattening yourselves on the choicest parts of every offering of my people Israel?’

Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel:“ Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices, and eat the flesh.For in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, I did not speak to your fathers or command them concerning burnt offerings and sacrifices.But this command I gave them:‘ Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people. And walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.’But they did not obey or incline their ear, but walked in their own counsels and the stubbornness of their evil hearts, and went backward and not forward.

And this second thing you do. You cover the Lord’s altar with tears, with weeping and groaning because he no longer regards the offering or accepts it with favor from your hand.

“ And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.

“ Say to all the people of the land and the priests,‘ When you fasted and mourned in the fifth month and in the seventh, for these seventy years, was it for me that you fasted?And when you eat and when you drink, do you not eat for yourselves and drink for yourselves?

“ I hate, I despise your feasts, and I take no delight in your solemn assemblies.Even though you offer me your burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them; and the peace offerings of your fattened animals, I will not look upon them.Take away from me the noise of your songs; to the melody of your harps I will not listen.

The priests shall not eat of anything, whether bird or beast, that has died of itself or is torn by wild animals.

“ Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.“ Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.

Then I said,“ Ah, Lord God! Behold, I have never defiled myself. From my youth up till now I have never eaten what died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has tainted meat come into my mouth.”

saying,“ When will the new moon be over, that we may sell grain? And the Sabbath, that we may offer wheat for sale, that we may make the ephah small and the shekel great and deal deceitfully with false balances,

Among the smooth stones of the valley is your portion; they, they, are your lot; to them you have poured out a drink offering, you have brought a grain offering. Shall I relent for these things?

But if it has any blemish, if it is lame or blind or has any serious blemish whatever, you shall not sacrifice it to the Lord your God.

He shall not eat what dies of itself or is torn by beasts, and so make himself unclean by it: I am the Lord.’
