耶穌應之曰：『狐有丘、鳥有巢、人子獨無枕首地。』

耶稣说：“狐狸有洞，天空的飞鸟有窝，只是人子没有枕头的地方。”

Jesus replied,“ Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

And Jesus said to him,“ Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”

But Jesus replied,“ Foxes have dens to live in, and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place even to lay his head.”

Jesus told him,“ Foxes have dens, and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

And Jesus said to him,“ The foxes have holes and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

And Jesus said to him,“ Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

And Jesus said unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the heaven have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Jesus told him,“ Foxes have dens, and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay His head.”

親愛之兄弟、爾其諦聽、斯世之貧人、乃天主之所眷顧、使其富於信德、而簡為天國之嗣子。蓋天國特為愛慕天主之人而設也。

『人來從予、而不甘舍其父母妻子昆弟姊妹、乃至其生命者、不得為吾徒。凡不負其十字架、以從予者、亦不得為吾徒。爾中孰有欲建一塔、而不預籌所需之費、以觀厥成者乎？誠恐其基既奠、而不克竣工、則旁觀者、將起而誚之曰：「斯人經營、有始無終。」又如國王與他國之王交綏、安有不先自運籌帷幄、以視能否將兵一萬、以禦敵軍二萬者乎？苟其不能、彼必乘敵尚遠、遣使求和矣。是故爾中不拘誰何、苟不願犧牲一切、終不克為吾徒也。

吾主耶穌基督之慷慨、固爾等之所知也。彼乃萬有之主也、顧為爾等之故、甘成貧窮、俾爾等因彼之貧窮、而成富有。

耶穌對曰：『狐有丘、鳥有巢、人子獨無枕首地。』

凡此皆在葛法農會堂施訓時之所言也。門徒聞之、多曰『此語亦已甚矣！其誰能聽之？』耶穌心知門徒嘖有煩言、乃謂之曰：『爾等因是見礙乎？若見人子昇歸本宅、又將如何？夫畀生命者神也、而肉身無益焉。予所授爾之道、神也、生也。第爾等中有不信者焉。』蓋誰屬無信、誰將叛己、耶穌自始知之。既又曰：『是故人非受恩於聖父、未有能歸予者也。』

夢魂依依。庭闈藹藹。心歌腹詠。生靈淵海。

耶穌聞其言、而謂之曰：『尚缺一事、當盡鬻所有、施諸貧人、用積寶於天、然後來從予遊。』其人聞言、不勝戚戚、固擁有巨貲者也。
