如心懷嫉狠忿戾、則勿自矜、冒稱真理、此智非由上來、乃屬斯世、血氣所激、魔鬼所迷、有媢嫉、爭鬥、則必作亂、行惡貫盈、由上之智、即廉潔、和平、溫良、寛恕、恆存矜恤善行、絕諸偏視偽為、行和平者、種和平也、必結善果、

凡我良朋、宜速聽、宜徐言、宜懲忿、蓋人忿怒、無益於上帝道、故當去邪穢、遠諸惡、

今祭司諸長恐喝我、求主鑒之、俾僕侃侃傳道、施權以醫人、託聖子耶穌名、行異跡奇事、○

我觀其一首受傷、瀕死得醫、天下億兆奇之、惟獸是從、

然耶戶不一心謹恪、信從以色列族上帝耶和華之律例、又效耶羅破暗之所為、使以色列族陷罪。

初基遍人不屬以色列族、乃亞摩哩族遺民。以色列族與之盟約、掃羅為以色列猶大二族熱中而殺之、至是大闢召基遍人、

曰、爾與我偕、見我為耶和華熱中。於是二人同車。
