耶和華欲以旋風、接以利亞升天時、以利亞偕以利沙、由吉甲而往、以利亞謂以利沙曰、耶和華遣我至伯特利、請爾待此、以利沙曰、我指維生之耶和華、及爾生命而誓、我不離爾、於是二人下伯特利、居伯特利之先知徒、出迓以利沙曰、耶和華今日將接爾師、與爾相離、爾知之乎、曰、我知之、爾其緘默、

瞻望耶穌、即我信之始終、彼為陳於其前之樂、忍受十架、輕視恥辱、今得坐於上帝右、

言畢、眾觀時、耶穌見舉、有雲接之而不見、

今我心迫切往耶路撒冷、未知所遇若何、惟聖神每邑示我、有械繫患難俟我也、然我不以己生為意、而貴之、惟欲盡我程途、及由主耶穌所授之職、以證上帝恩惠之福音、

至其接昇之日、乃後於由聖神命所選之使徒也、

大哉敬虔之奧、無不以為然也、彼顯於形軀、徵於心靈、見於天使、宣於列邦、信於天下、躋於光榮焉、

就我儕、取保羅之帶、自縛手足、曰、聖神言、猶太人在耶路撒冷、將如此縛斯帶之主、付異邦人手矣、我儕與是地之人聞之、勸保羅勿上耶路撒冷、保羅曰、爾曹胡為哭泣而摧我心乎、我為主耶穌名、不第受縛、即死於耶路撒冷、亦甘心也、既不受勸、我儕則止、曰、主旨得成矣、○

逾越節前、耶穌知離世歸父時至、既愛在世之屬己者、終亦愛之、

祝時、別眾、見升於天、

彼已昇天在上帝右、凡天使與有權有能者咸服之、基督既以身受苦、爾亦宜以此志自衛、蓋受苦於身者、則與罪絕矣、

二人且行且語、忽有火車火馬間之、以利亞乘旋風升天、

我出於父而臨世、復離世而歸父、

今而後、我不在世、彼在世、我歸爾、聖父歟、爾所予我者、祈於爾名保之、俾為一、如爾我然、

故曰、其上昇時、則俘所虜而頒賚於人、夫既云上昇、豈非曾降於地下乎、降者即高昇於諸天、以充萬有者也、其所賜者、有使徒、先知、宣道者、及牧師、教師、

我今歸於遣我者、爾中無人問我何往、

設見人子升於故處、則何如、

趨向標準、致得上帝自上而召之賞、在基督耶穌中者、
