大家都对神的威荣惊叹不已。正当大家对耶稣所做的一切感到惊奇的时候，耶稣对他的门徒们说：“你们要把这话存在耳中：人子将要被交在人的手中。”可是他们不明白这话，因为这话的意思对他们是隐藏的，使他们不能领悟。他们也不敢问耶稣这话的意思。

他们离开那里，经过加利利，耶稣不愿意让人知道。那时，他教导自己的门徒们，对他们说：“人子被交在人的手中，他们要杀害他。然后被杀之后，在第三天他要复活。”可是门徒们不明白这话，又不敢问他。

认出他是坐在圣殿的美门口乞讨的那个人，就对发生在他身上的事满心希奇、惊讶。那个人紧拉着彼得和约翰的时候，全体民众都一起跑向他们，到叫做“所罗门”的柱廊那里，满心惊奇。彼得看见，就对民众说：“各位以色列人哪！你们为什么对这事感到惊奇？为什么注视我们，以为我们是凭着自己的能力或虔诚使这个人走路的呢？亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的神，也就是我们祖先的神，已经荣耀了他的仆人耶稣。你们竟然把他交出去，并且在彼拉多判定要释放他的时候，在彼拉多面前拒绝了他。

那时，他和所有与他一起的人，都对这一网捕到的鱼惊讶不已。

要知道，我们从前让你们明白我们主耶稣基督的大能和他来临的事，并不是随从巧言编造的故事，相反，我们是亲眼见过他威荣的人。

大家都惊讶不已，彼此谈论说：“这是什么事呢？他带着权柄和能力命令那些污灵，它们就出来了！”

耶稣对他们说：“你们的信仰在哪里？”他们又惧怕，又惊奇，彼此说：“这个人究竟是谁？他竟然命令风和水，连风和水也听从他！”

接着，耶稣上了船和他们在一起。这时候风就停了。门徒们心里感到极其惊讶，

他们聚集在加利利的时候，耶稣对门徒们说：“人子将要被交在人的手中。

于是大家都惊讶不已，就不住地荣耀神，并且满怀敬畏之心说：“我们今天看到奇妙的事了！”

我要称谢你，因为我受造奇妙可畏；你所做的奇妙，我的灵魂深深知道。
