他得了圣灵的启示：自己在经历死亡以前会看见主的基督。

不过我们看见的是：那暂时比天使低微的耶稣，因着死亡的痛苦被赐予荣耀和尊贵为冠冕，好使他藉着神的恩典，替所有的人尝了死的滋味。

我确确实实地告诉你们：人如果遵守我的话语，就绝不见死亡，直到永远。”犹太人说：“现在我们知道你是有鬼魔附身的。亚伯拉罕死了，先知们也死了，你还说‘人如果遵守我的话语，就绝不会尝到死的滋味，直到永远。’

我告诉你们：从今以后我绝不喝这葡萄汁，直到神的国来临。”

耶稣又对他们说：“我确实地告诉你们：站在这里的有些人，在还没有尝到死的滋味之前，必定见到神的国带着权能来临。”

但我把真相告诉你们：我离去对你们是有益处的，因为我如果不去，慰助者就不会到你们这里来；如果我去了，我就会派遣他到你们这里来。

他们因此拿起石头要砸他。耶稣却被隐藏，离开了圣殿。

在我父家里有很多住处。如果没有，我怎么会告诉你们说，我去是要为你们预备地方呢？
