我實在告訴你們，我決不再喝這葡萄酒，直到我在神的國裡喝新酒的那一天。”

聖靈啟示他，在死前必得見主所應許的基督，

不過，我們看見那位暫時成了比天使卑微（“暫時成了比天使卑微”或譯：“比天使稍低微一點”）的耶穌，因為受了死的痛苦，就得了榮耀尊貴作冠冕，好叫他因著神的恩典，為萬人嘗了死味。

我實實在在告訴你們，人若遵守我的道，必定永遠不見死亡。”猶太人對他說：“現在我們知道你的確是鬼附的。亞伯拉罕死了，先知們也死了，你還說‘人若遵守我的道，必定永遠不嘗死味’，

我告訴你們，從今以後，我決不再喝這葡萄酒，直到神的國來臨。”

耶穌又對他們說：“我實在告訴你們，站在這裡的，有人在沒有嘗過死味以前，必定看見神的國帶著能力降臨。”

但我要把實情告訴你們，我去是對你們有益的。如果我不去，保惠師就不會到你們這裡來；我若去了，就會差他到你們這裡來。

於是他們拿起石頭要打他。耶穌卻躲起來，從殿裡出去了。

在我父的家裡，有許多住的地方；如果沒有，我怎麼會告訴你們我去是要為你們預備地方呢？（下半節或譯：“如果沒有，我早就對你們說了，因為我去是為你們預備地方。”）
