這兩人中，誰實行了那父親的意旨呢？他們說：『那後者。』耶穌對他們說：「我實在告訴你們，收稅的人和妓女比你們先進上帝的國呢！

過了不久，耶穌旅行各城各村，宣告並傳揚上帝的國為福音。那十二個人和他同行；

他坦然無懼地宣傳上帝之國，教授主耶穌基督的事，毫無阻礙。

耶穌回答他們說：『康健的沒有需要醫生，有病的才有需要。

主永恆主的靈在我身上；因為永恆主用膏油膏了我，叫我傳好信息給困苦的人，差遣我去綁紮心裏破碎的，給被擄的宣告自由，給被囚的宣告開釋，

耶穌出來，看見一大羣人，就憐憫他們，治好了他們的病人。

就差遣他們去宣傳上帝的國，並且行醫。

這樣看來，人所沒相信的、人怎能呼求呢？所沒聽到的、人怎能相信呢？沒有宣傳的，人怎能聽見呢？

故此我告訴你們，上帝的國必從你們中間取去，給那能結果子的外國。』

可見信是由於聽，聽是憑着基督的話語。

耶穌說：『上帝國的奧祕是給你們知道的；對於其他的人呢、就用比喻，使他們看是看，卻看不見；聽是聽，卻不曉悟！

凡父所給我的人、必來找我；來找我的、我一定不把他趕出，

因為基督也不求自己所喜歡的；倒像經上所記：『那些辱罵你之人的辱罵、都落在我身上了！』

眾人看見他們走了，有許多人認得他們，便從各城步行，一齊向那裏跑，比他們先到。耶穌出了船，看見一大羣人，就憐憫他們，因為他們像羊沒有牧人一般；就教訓他們許多事。

你要傳道，無論得時不得時都要急切力行，用百般的恆忍和各樣的教訓讓人知罪、責備人、勸勉人。

饑餓的、他用美物滿足他們，富足的、他送他們空手走出去。

耶穌對他們說：『實行差我者的旨意、而完成他的工：這就是我的食物。

所以我們只管坦然無懼進到恩惠之寶座前，好領受憐憫，取得恩惠、做及時的援助。
