主耶和华的灵在我身上，因为耶和华膏了我，叫我传福音给困苦的人；差遣我去医治伤心的人，向被掳的宣告自由，向被囚的宣告释放；

耶稣上了岸，看见一大群人，就怜悯他们，医好了他们的病人。

差遣他们去宣讲神的国和医治病人，

然而，人还没有信他，怎能求告他呢？没有听见他，怎能信他呢？没有人传扬，怎能听见呢？

因此我告诉你们，神的国要从你们那里取去，赐给那结果子的外族人。

可见信心是从所听的道来的，所听的道是藉着基督的话来的。

他说：“神的国的奥秘，只给你们知道，对别人就用比喻，叫他们看却看不见，听却听不明白。

凡是父赐给我的人，必到我这里来；到我这里来的，我决不丢弃他，

因为连基督也不求自己的喜悦；反而像经上所记的：“辱骂你的人的辱骂，都落在我的身上。”

群众看见他们走了，有许多人认出了他们，就从各城出来，跑到那里，比他们先赶到。耶稣一下船，看见一大群人，就怜悯他们，因为他们好像羊没有牧人一样，就开始教导他们许多事。

务要传道；无论时机是否适合，都要常作准备；要以多方的忍耐和教训责备人、警戒人、劝勉人。

让饥饿的得饱美食，使富足的空手回去。

耶稣说：“我的食物就是遵行差我来者的旨意，并且完成他的工作。

所以，我们只管坦然无惧地来到施恩的宝座前，为的是要领受怜悯，得到恩惠，作为及时的帮助。
