如果有人不敬重屬自己的人，尤其是家裡的人，他就否定了信仰，比不信的人更壞。

但那個人一出去，就開始大加宣揚，把這件事傳開了，結果耶穌不能再公開進城，只好留在外面荒僻的地方。可是人們還是從各處來到他那裡。

其中有一個人看見自己得了痊癒，就回來大聲地榮耀神，並且把臉伏在耶穌腳前，感謝他。這人是個撒馬利亞人。耶穌回答說：「被潔淨的不是有十個人嗎？另外九個在哪裡呢？除了這個外邦人，難道沒有人回來把榮耀歸給神嗎？」

那時我們的口充滿歡笑，我們的舌頭充滿歡呼；人們在列國中說：「耶和華為他們行了大事！」耶和華為我們行了大事，我們就歡喜。

「你們來看！有個人把我過去所做的一切都說了出來，這個人會不會就是基督呢？」

那些日子結束了，我尼布甲尼撒舉目望天，我的理智回到我身上。我就頌讚至高者，稱讚、尊崇永遠活著的那一位——他的權柄是永遠的權柄，他的國度世世代代長存！地上所有的居民都算為無有，他照著自己的旨意對待天上的眾軍和地上的居民。沒有人能攔住他的手，或對他說：「你做什麼？」——當時，我的理智回到我身上；為了我國家的尊榮，我的威嚴、我的光輝也回到我身上。我的謀士們、我的大臣們又來尋求我，我的國權重新堅立，超卓的權勢也加增給我。如今我尼布甲尼撒稱讚、高舉、尊崇天上的王，因為他一切的作為都是確實的，一切的道路都是公正的，他能使行事驕傲的人降卑。

所有敬畏神的人哪，你們都當來聽！我要講述他為我所做的事。

尼布甲尼撒王，致住在全地的所有民族、國家、語言群體：願你們大有平安！我很高興能把至高神向我所行的神蹟奇事講明出來——他的神蹟多麼偉大，他的奇事多麼有能力！他的國度是永遠的國度，他的權柄世世代代長存！
