“ Return home and tell how much God has done for you.” So the man went away and told all over town how much Jesus had done for him.

人若不看顧自己的人，尤其不看顧自己一家的人，就是背棄信仰，比不信的人還壞。

他是你當頌讚的；他是你的神，他為你作了那些大而可畏的事，就是你親眼見過的。

但那人出來，竟任意傳講，就把這事傳開了，以致耶穌不能再公開進城，只好留在外邊荒野的地方；然而還是有人從各處到他那裡去。

內中有一個人見自己已經好了，就回來大聲頌讚神，在耶穌腳前把臉伏在地上感謝他。他是一個撒瑪利亞人。耶穌說：“潔淨了的不是有十個人嗎？那九個在哪裡？除了這外族人，再沒有一個回來頌讚神嗎？”

那時，我們滿口喜笑，滿舌歡呼；那時列國中有人說：“耶和華為他們行了大事。”耶和華為我們行了大事，我們就歡喜。

“你們來，看看一個人，他把我所作的一切都說出來，難道這人就是基督嗎？”

“七年的日子滿了，我尼布甲尼撒舉目望天，我的理智恢復過來，我就稱頌至高者，讚美尊崇活到永遠的神。他的統治永無窮盡，他的國度直到萬代。地上所有的居民，在他來說都是虛無；在天上的萬軍中，他憑自己的意旨行事；在地上的居民中，也是這樣；沒有人能攔住他的手，或問他說：‘你作甚麼？’“那時，我的理智恢復過來後，為著我國的光榮，我的威嚴和光輝也都恢復過來了。我的謀臣和官員仍來求見我，我的王權重新堅立，我的權勢越發增加。現在我尼布甲尼撒讚美、尊崇、榮耀天上的王，因為他所作的一切都正確，他所行的也都公平；行為驕傲的，他都能貶低。”

所有敬畏神的人哪！你們都要來聽，我要述說他為我所行的事。

尼布甲尼撒王向住在全地的各國、各族和說各種語言的人宣告說：“願你們大享平安！我樂意把至高的神向我所行的神蹟奇事宣揚出來。他的神蹟多麼偉大，他的奇事多麼有力；他的國是永遠的國，他的統治直到萬代！（本章第1~3節在《馬索拉文本》為3:31~33）
