“ Return home and tell how much God has done for you.” So the man went away and told all over town how much Jesus had done for him.

人若不看顾自己的人，尤其不看顾自己一家的人，就是背弃信仰，比不信的人还坏。

他是你当颂赞的；他是你的神，他为你作了那些大而可畏的事，就是你亲眼见过的。

但那人出来，竟任意传讲，就把这事传开了，以致耶稣不能再公开进城，只好留在外边荒野的地方；然而还是有人从各处到他那里去。

内中有一个人见自己已经好了，就回来大声颂赞神，在耶稣脚前把脸伏在地上感谢他。他是一个撒玛利亚人。耶稣说：“洁净了的不是有十个人吗？那九个在哪里？除了这外族人，再没有一个回来颂赞神吗？”

那时，我们满口喜笑，满舌欢呼；那时列国中有人说：“耶和华为他们行了大事。”耶和华为我们行了大事，我们就欢喜。

“你们来，看看一个人，他把我所作的一切都说出来，难道这人就是基督吗？”

“七年的日子满了，我尼布甲尼撒举目望天，我的理智恢复过来，我就称颂至高者，赞美尊崇活到永远的神。他的统治永无穷尽，他的国度直到万代。地上所有的居民，在他来说都是虚无；在天上的万军中，他凭自己的意旨行事；在地上的居民中，也是这样；没有人能拦住他的手，或问他说：‘你作什么？’“那时，我的理智恢复过来后，为着我国的光荣，我的威严和光辉也都恢复过来了。我的谋臣和官员仍来求见我，我的王权重新坚立，我的权势越发增加。现在我尼布甲尼撒赞美、尊崇、荣耀天上的王，因为他所作的一切都正确，他所行的也都公平；行为骄傲的，他都能贬低。”

所有敬畏神的人哪！你们都要来听，我要述说他为我所行的事。

尼布甲尼撒王向住在全地的各国、各族和说各种语言的人宣告说：“愿你们大享平安！我乐意把至高的神向我所行的神迹奇事宣扬出来。他的神迹多么伟大，他的奇事多么有力；他的国是永远的国，他的统治直到万代！（本章第1~3节在《马索拉文本》为3:31~33）
