便來勸他們，領他們出監，請求他們離開那城。

西門彼得看見，就拜倒在耶穌膝前，說：『主啊，離開我，我是個罪人！』

婦人對以利亞說：『神人哪，我與你之間有甚麼相干？你竟到我這裏來，重翻起我罪孽的舊案，而使我兒子死啊！』

伯示麥人說：『在永恆主這神聖的上帝面前、誰能站立得住呢？我們要把他從我們這裏送上哪裏去呢？』

全城就都出來，要迎接耶穌；既見了他，就求他離開他們的境界。

凡不接待你們的、你們從那城再出發的時候、要從你們腳上把飛塵抖去，對他們作抗議。』

你們無論進哪一城，人若不接待你們，你們就出來，到大街上說：「就是你們城裏的飛塵、粘着我們腳上的、我們也當着你們面前拂去啊。然而這一點你們該知道：上帝的國是臨近了。」

他看見了耶穌，就高聲喊叫起來，拜倒在他面前，大聲說：『至高上帝的兒子耶穌，我與你何干？祈求你別使我受苦痛哦。』

然而他們對上帝說：「離開我們吧！我們不願意認識你的道路。全能者是甚麼，我們得事奉他呀？我們向他祈求、有甚麼用處？」

現在這大火將要燒滅我們，我們又何必冒死呢？我們若再聽見永恆主我們的上帝的聲音，就會死的。

聽從你們的、就是聽我；棄絕你們的、就是棄絕我；棄絕我的、就是棄絕那差遣我的。』

他們就求耶穌離開他們的境界。

為了永恆主突然殺死烏撒的緣故，大衛就發怒，因此那地方到今日還叫做毘列斯烏撒。那一天大衛懼怕永恆主，說：『永恆主的櫃怎可到我這裏來呢？』
