耶和华对撒旦说：“好吧，他的一切都在你手中，但不可伤害他。”撒旦便从耶和华面前退去。

耶和华问他用什么方法，他说，‘我要做谎言之灵，进入他众先知的口中。’耶和华说，‘你必能成功，就这样做吧。’

耶稣回答说：“除非从上面赐下权柄给你，否则你无权处置我。因此，把我交给你的那人罪更大。”

耶和华说：“好吧，他在你手中，但要留他一命。”
