As soon as he saw Jesus, he shrieked and fell down in front of him. Then he screamed,“ Why are you interfering with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? Please, I beg you, don’t torture me!”

他看见耶稣，就喊叫着俯伏在他面前，大声说：“至高上帝的儿子耶稣，你为什么干扰我？我求你，不要叫我受苦！”

他看见耶稣，就喊叫着俯伏在他面前，大声说：“至高神的儿子耶稣，你为什么干扰我？我求你，不要叫我受苦！”

他一见到耶稣，就扑倒在祂面前，高声喊叫：“至高上帝的儿子耶稣，我和你有什么关系？求求你，不要折磨我！”

他一见耶稣，就俯伏喊叫，大声说：“至高神的儿子耶稣，我跟你有什么关系呢？求你不要使我受苦。”

他一看见耶稣，就喊叫起来，俯伏在耶稣面前，大声说：“至高神的儿子耶稣，我与你有什么关系？求求你不要折磨我！”

他見了耶穌，就俯伏在他面前，大聲喊叫，說：「至高神的兒子耶穌，我與你有甚麼相干？求你不要叫我受苦！」

他看見耶穌，就喊叫着俯伏在他面前，大聲說：「至高上帝的兒子耶穌，你為甚麼干擾我？我求你，不要叫我受苦！」

他看見耶穌，就喊叫着俯伏在他面前，大聲說：「至高神的兒子耶穌，你為甚麼干擾我？我求你，不要叫我受苦！」

他看見了耶穌，就高聲喊叫起來，拜倒在他面前，大聲說：『至高上帝的兒子耶穌，我與你何干？祈求你別使我受苦痛哦。』

他一看見耶穌，就喊叫起來，俯伏在耶穌面前，大聲說：「至高神的兒子耶穌，我與你有什麼關係？求求你不要折磨我！」

見耶穌、遂號呼而伏其前、大聲曰、至高上帝子耶穌、我與爾何涉、求爾莫我苦、

一見耶穌、即驚呼而跪伏其前、揚聲而言曰：『至尊天主之子耶穌、吾與汝何干？祈毋相苦。』

When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell at his feet, shouting at the top of his voice,“ What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don’t torture me!”

They began screaming at him,“ Why are you interfering with us, Son of God? Have you come here to torture us before God’s appointed time?”

And all the people in the region of the Gerasenes begged Jesus to go away and leave them alone, for a great wave of fear swept over them. So Jesus returned to the boat and left, crossing back to the other side of the lake.The man who had been freed from the demons begged to go with him. But Jesus sent him home, saying,

But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.

In that day the Lord will take his terrible, swift sword and punish Leviathan, the swiftly moving serpent, the coiling, writhing serpent. He will kill the dragon of the sea.

Then the devil, who had deceived them, was thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulfur, joining the beast and the false prophet. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key to the bottomless pit and a heavy chain in his hand.He seized the dragon— that old serpent, who is the devil, Satan— and bound him in chains for a thousand years.The angel threw him into the bottomless pit, which he then shut and locked so Satan could not deceive the nations anymore until the thousand years were finished. Afterward he must be released for a little while.

One day as we were going down to the place of prayer, we met a slave girl who had a spirit that enabled her to tell the future. She earned a lot of money for her masters by telling fortunes.She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting,“ These men are servants of the Most High God, and they have come to tell you how to be saved.”This went on day after day until Paul got so exasperated that he turned and said to the demon within her,“ I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And instantly it left her.

You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror.

When Jesus was still some distance away, the man saw him, ran to meet him, and bowed low before him.With a shriek, he screamed,“ Why are you interfering with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? In the name of God, I beg you, don’t torture me!”For Jesus had already said to the spirit,“ Come out of the man, you evil spirit.”

For God did not spare even the angels who sinned. He threw them into hell, in gloomy pits of darkness, where they are being held until the day of judgment.

Once when he was in the synagogue, a man possessed by a demon— an evil spirit— cried out, shouting,“ Go away! Why are you interfering with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are— the Holy One of God!”But Jesus reprimanded him.“ Be quiet! Come out of the man,” he ordered. At that, the demon threw the man to the floor as the crowd watched; then it came out of him without hurting him further.Amazed, the people exclaimed,“ What authority and power this man’s words possess! Even evil spirits obey him, and they flee at his command!”

“ Why are you interfering with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are— the Holy One of God!”But Jesus reprimanded him.“ Be quiet! Come out of the man,” he ordered.At that, the evil spirit screamed, threw the man into a convulsion, and then came out of him.Amazement gripped the audience, and they began to discuss what had happened.“ What sort of new teaching is this?” they asked excitedly.“ It has such authority! Even evil spirits obey his orders!”
