Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them,“ Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.” And they launched out.

We are perishing!”But He said to them,“ Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.So the men marveled, saying,“ Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”

On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them,“ Let us cross over to the other side.”Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him.And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling.But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him,“ Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea,“ Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.But He said to them,“ Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?”And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another,“ Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”

After these things Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias.

And He left them, and getting into the boat again, departed to the other side.

So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word of God, that He stood by the Lake of Gennesaret,

Immediately He made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while He sent the multitude away.

Now when Jesus had crossed over again by boat to the other side, a great multitude gathered to Him; and He was by the sea.

But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in jeopardy.

And when Jesus saw great multitudes about Him, He gave a command to depart to the other side.
