好使你们无可指摘、纯真无邪，在这弯曲乖谬的世代中，作神没有瑕疵的儿女；你们要在这世代中发光，好像天上的光体一样，把生命的道显扬出来，使我在基督的日子可以夸耀我没有空跑，也没有徒劳。

你所看见在我右手中的七星和七个金灯台的奥秘就是这样：七星是七个教会的使者，七灯台是七个教会。”“你要写信给在以弗所教会的使者，说：‘那右手拿着七星，在七个金灯台中间行走的，这样说：

人点了灯，不会放在量器底下，而是放在灯台上，就照亮一家人。照样，你们的光也应当照在人前，让他们看见你们的好行为，又颂赞你们在天上的父。

他们就是站在全地之主面前的两棵橄榄树和两个灯台。
