But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,gentleness, and self control. There is no law against these things!Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there.Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another.

Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.

“ The Lord your God will change your heart and the hearts of all your descendants, so that you will love him with all your heart and soul and so you may live!

But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

Jesus replied,“ But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice.”

Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.

A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart.

So, my dear brothers and sisters, this is the point: You died to the power of the law when you died with Christ. And now you are united with the one who was raised from the dead. As a result, we can produce a harvest of good deeds for God.

Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait for the Lord’s return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen.You, too, must be patient. Take courage, for the coming of the Lord is near.

For it makes no difference whether or not a man has been circumcised. The important thing is to keep God’s commandments.
