And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to the rest in parables; that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.

He said,“ The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that,“‘ though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.’

He said,“ You have been given the chance to understand the secrets of God’s kingdom. But to outsiders I speak by using stories. In that way,“‘ They see, but they will not know what they are seeing. They hear, but they will not understand what they are hearing.’( Isaiah 6:9)

he said,“ To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so that‘ seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’

He replied,“ You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of God. But I use parables to teach the others so that the Scriptures might be fulfilled:‘ When they look, they won’t really see. When they hear, they won’t understand.’

So he said,“ The secrets of the kingdom of God have been given for you to know, but to the rest it is in parables, so that Looking they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.

And He said,“ To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest they are told in parables, so that while seeing they may not see, and while hearing they may not understand.

And He said,“ To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that‘ Seeing they may not see, And hearing they may not understand.’

So He said,“ The secrets of the kingdom of God have been given for you to know, but to the rest it is in parables, so that Looking they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.

And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

He said,“ You have been given the opportunity to know the secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so that although they see they may not see, and although they hear they may not understand.

He said,“ To you it is given to know the mysteries of God’s Kingdom, but to the rest in parables; that‘ seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

And he said unto them, Unto you is given the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all things are done in parables:

At that season Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou didst hide these things from the wise and understanding, and didst reveal them unto babes:

They know not, neither do they consider: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.

And he answered and said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he hath.Therefore speak I to them in parables; because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.And unto them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall in no wise understand; And seeing ye shall see, and shall in no wise perceive:For this people’s heart is waxed gross, And their ears are dull of hearing, And their eyes they have closed; Lest haply they should perceive with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And should turn again, And I should heal them.But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.For verily I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which ye see, and saw them not; and to hear the things which ye hear, and heard them not.

Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; that have eyes, and see not; that have ears, and hear not:

that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, even Christ,

Now to him that is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which hath been kept in silence through times eternal,

even the mystery which hath been hid for ages and generations: but now hath it been manifested to his saints,to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:whom we proclaim, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ;

saying, Go thou unto this people, and say, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall in no wise understand; And seeing ye shall see, and shall in no wise perceive:For this people’s heart is waxed gross, And their ears are dull of hearing, And their eyes they have closed; Lest haply they should perceive with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And should turn again, And I should heal them.

What then? That which Israel seeketh for, that he obtained not; but the election obtained it, and the rest were hardened:according as it is written, God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, unto this very day.And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, And a stumblingblock, and a recompense unto them:Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, And bow thou down their back always.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar- Jonah: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father who is in heaven.

The friendship of Jehovah is with them that fear him; And he will show them his covenant.

but Jehovah hath not given you a heart to know, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.

but all these worketh the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each one severally even as he will.

therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.

Concerning which salvation the prophets sought and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:searching what time or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did point unto, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glories that should follow them.To whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto you, did they minister these things, which now have been announced unto you through them that preached the gospel unto you by the Holy Spirit sent forth from heaven; which things angels desire to look into.

but we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, even the wisdom that hath been hidden, which God foreordained before the worlds unto our glory:which none of the rulers of this world hath known: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory:but as it is written, Things which eye saw not, and ear heard not, And which entered not into the heart of man, Whatsoever things God prepared for them that love him.But unto us God revealed them through the Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.For who among men knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of the man, which is in him? even so the things of God none knoweth, save the Spirit of God.

He hath blinded their eyes, and he hardened their heart; Lest they should see with their eyes, and perceive with their heart, And should turn, And I should heal them.

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness; He who was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the spirit, Seen of angels, Preached among the nations, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.

In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou didst hide these things from the wise and understanding, and didst reveal them unto babes: yea, Father; for so it was well- pleasing in thy sight.All things have been delivered unto me of my Father: and no one knoweth who the Son is, save the Father; and who the Father is, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son willeth to reveal him.And turning to the disciples, he said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:for I say unto you, that many prophets and kings desired to see the things which ye see, and saw them not; and to hear the things which ye hear, and heard them not.

how that by revelation was made known unto me the mystery, as I wrote before in few words,whereby, when ye read, ye can perceive my understanding in the mystery of Christ;which in other generations was not made known unto the sons of men, as it hath now been revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit;to wit, that the Gentiles are fellow- heirs, and fellow- members of the body, and fellow- partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel,whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power.Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach unto the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;and to make all men see what is the dispensation of the mystery which for ages hath been hid in God who created all things;
