耶穌宴於伯大尼癩者西門家、突有婦人持玉瓶、中貯珍貴之芳液、傾瓶以渥耶穌之首。門徒見而不悅曰：『是何徒耗？盍售此以濟貧乎？』耶穌知之、乃曰：『何為而阻此婦；彼所加於予身者、美事也。爾曹恆有貧人與俱、然予則非爾曹所得而長留。彼以芳液渥予身者、乃所以備予之殮耳。予實告爾、普天之下、福音所屆、此婦所為、將傳為千古美談。』

二者孰孝？』對曰：『長子。』耶穌曰：『吾實語爾、稅吏娼妓、將先爾曹入天主國。

稅吏遙立、弗敢仰視、惟拊膺曰：「求主憐我罪人！」

城中一女子、風塵中人也、知耶穌宴於法利塞家、乃攜玉壺貯芳液以至、侍耶穌後、伏其足下而泣、淚濺其足、以髮拭之、繼而吻之、敷以芳液。法利塞見而自思曰：「斯人苟為先知、當知撫之者為誰、寧不識此女乃風塵中人乎？」

予來非召義者、正欲召罪人悔過自新耳。』

爾時、耶穌在伯大尼讌於癩者西門家、一女攜玉壺至、中貯那達精膏、至珍貴。女乃破玉壺、傾沃耶穌首。坐中有人不悅曰：『胡此浪費！此膏售之、可得三百餘鈿、以濟窮人、不亦善乎？』舉悻悻然而嗔女。耶穌曰：『聽之、毋阻！渠所加於吾身者、美事也。貧者常與爾俱、爾可隨時濟之、予則非爾曹所得而長留。此女傾其所有、而膏澤吾身、所以備吾之葬耳。予誠告爾、普天率土、福音所至、此女今日之所為、將傳為千古美談矣。』

應知律法之設、非為善人、乃為不法、橫行、無道、作惡、喪德、敗行、忤逆、不孝、殺人、

若義人之蒙救、猶若是其難也；則悖逆不道之人、其將何地以自容耶？

法利塞人與經生見而不悅、謂耶穌門徒曰：『爾等胡為與稅吏罪人共席？』

而基督獨為吾罪人捨生、足徵天主愛我之篤、寧有既極。

夫吾人固知天主不聽罪人、惟敬事天主而遵行其旨者、主則聽焉。

免難節前六日、耶穌來至伯大尼、即曩所起於死中者、賴柴魯之所寓也。人為耶穌設宴、瑪大侍、而賴柴魯與之同席。瑪麗攜香膏一斤、純且珍、敷耶穌足、以髮拭之、異香滿室。而門徒茹答斯依斯加略、即日後鬻主者、責曰：『何不售此膏、得三百銀錢、以濟貧者乎？』然彼作斯言非在恤貧、蓋其貪污成性、掌囊而恆竊所貯耳。耶穌乃曰：『聽之、勿阻！蓋此女子之所為、所以備吾殮也！爾等常有貧者與俱、而予則非爾等所得而常有。』

於是若輩復召夙盲之人、而語之曰：『汝其以天主光榮為懷！吾人明知彼乃罪人。』

人子之來也、食焉飲焉、而爾則曰：「盍視彼人、饕餮也、酒徒也、稅吏罪人之友也。」

眾見而非議曰：『彼竟投宿罪人家耶！』

吾人常言、基督之降生斯世、為救罪人也。旨哉言乎、不我欺也。而罪人之中、吾其尤著者也。

而瑪麗者、即曩以香油渥主、以其髮拭主之足者也。病者賴柴魯、即係其兄。
