所有已经受过约翰洗礼的民众和税吏，听了这话，都承认神是义的；

众百姓和税吏既受过约翰的洗，听见这话，就以神为义；

众百姓和税吏已受过约翰的洗，听见这话，就以上帝为义；

众百姓和税吏已受过约翰的洗，听见这话，就以神为义；

众百姓和税吏听了这番话，都承认上帝是公义的，因为他们接受了约翰的洗礼。

众人和税吏受过约翰的洗礼，听见这话，就称神为义。

庶民與稅吏、既受約翰之洗、聞之遂義上帝、

庶民及稅吏、聽而受洗於約翰、且稱頌天主之義、

眾與稅吏、咸受洗於如望、聞其言莫不稱頌天主至德；

( All the people, even the tax collectors, when they heard Jesus’ words, acknowledged that God’s way was right, because they had been baptized by John.

All the people who heard Jesus’ words agreed that God’s way was right. Even the tax collectors agreed. These people had all been baptized by John.

( When all the people heard this, and the tax collectors too, they declared God just, having been baptized with the baptism of John,

一些税吏也来受洗。他们问约翰：“老师，我们该做什么呢？”

然而，智慧是凭着智慧的众儿女被证明为义的。”

他们唱着神的奴仆摩西之歌和羔羊之歌，说：“主、神、全能者啊，你的作为又伟大又奇妙！列国之王啊，你的道路又公义又真实！

绝对不会！即使每个人都是说谎者，神还是真实的。正如经上所记：“这样，你说话的时候，显为公义；被评断的时候，必然得胜。”但是，如果我按人的意思来说，我们的不义可以显明神的义，那我们要怎么说呢？难道降震怒的神是不公正的吗？绝对不是！否则，神怎么能审判世界呢？

这个人已经在主的道上受了教导，灵里火热，并仔细地讲论和教导有关耶稣的事，可是他只知道约翰的洗礼。

我对你，唯独对你犯了罪，我做了你眼中看为恶的事；因此你说话的时候就显为公义，你审判的时候就显为清正。

保罗又问：“那么，你们受的是什么洗呢？”他们说：“是约翰的洗礼。”

“这两个儿子中，哪一个遵行父亲的意愿呢？”他们回答说：“大儿子。”耶稣说：“我确实地告诉你们：税吏和妓女要在你们的前面进神的国，因为约翰来到你们这里指明义的道路，你们不相信他，而那些税吏和妓女们却相信了他。你们虽然看见了，后来还是没有悔改去相信他。

接着，我听见那位统管众水的天使说：“今在、昔在的圣者啊，你是公义的，因为你判定了这些事，

就是说，他们不明白神的义，想要确立自己的义，就不服从神的义了。

那时，耶路撒冷、全犹太地区和整个约旦河一带的人，都出来到他那里，承认自己的罪孽，在约旦河里受他的洗礼。
