But Jesus knew what they were thinking and said to the man with the shriveled hand,“ Get up and stand in front of everyone.” So he got up and stood there.

耶穌燭其意曰：『何腹誹為？

基督在肉體上既備受苦難、則爾等亦應毅然抱此宏願。蓋肉體受苦、則與罪絕緣、

我苟忘眞神。而為異神役。

然吾於生命置之度外、無所顧惜。但望能完成吾之行程、及所受於主耶穌之使命、以證天主恩寵之福音而已。

及茲白晝、吾儕當暢行遣予者之事、夜至則無能為矣。

凡屬受造之物、莫不在天主明鑒之下、腑肺盡露；吾人皆向渠負責、固無所逃於天地間也。

以王乃識者、故敢暢言不諱；予深信此事悉在吾王洞鑒之中也。且其事之成、非在窮鄉僻壤。

蓋彼洞幽燭微、於人無所不悉、固無待外證耳。

其子女均將夭折；俾諸教會皆知吾洞察人心、且將按爾中各人之行為而施報應焉。

三問曰：『若納子西門、汝果慕我乎？』伯鐸祿因三次見問、不覺愀然曰：『主乎、爾固無所不知、當知吾之慕爾矣。』主曰：『飼吾羊！

耶穌燭其意、曰：『胡為腹誹？

一心一德、通力合作、以廣福音之傳。勿以敵眾而萌畏縮之意；爾之無畏、即為敵人敗亡之朕兆、亦即爾獲天主恩救之保障也。
